There’s been much publicity attending the exit from “South Park” of Chef, played by noted Scientologist Isaac Hayes.
So why is tonight’s episode, the first new one aired by Comedy Central this year, said to be titled “The Return of Chef!” Is the Hayes exit a ruse? Are they introducing a new voice for the character?
The logline floating around out there says the kids begin to notice something different about Chef after he suddenly returns to town.
