Sam Seaborn, Ainsley Hayes, John Hoynes & Amy Gardner Headed Back To WEST WING!!!!
NBC couldn’t convince series creator Aaron Sorkin to return for the “West Wing” finale, but this almost makes up for it!
Rob Lowe, who quit “The West Wing” in 2003 (even before Sorkin did) will return to the role of Samuel Norman Seaborn for “The West Wing’s” final two episodes, according to Wednesday morning’s Variety.
Even better, the final five episodes will also hail the return of Emily Procter as Republican lawyer Ainsley Hayes (last seen March 27, 2002), Anna Deavere Smith as national security advisor Nancy McNally (last seen Nov. 10, 2004), Tim Matheson as former U.S. vice president John Hoynes (last seen April 6, 2005), Gary Cole as current U.S. vice president Bingo Bob Russell (last seen April 6, 2005), Mary-Louise Parker as political wizard Amy Gardner (last seen Feb. 16, 2005) and Marlee Matlin as pollster Joey Lucas (last seen Oct. 2, 2005).
