Heads-up re: MERCY POINT, SEVEN DAYS, and Coaxial

Last week, Coaxial opened up two "pages" reserved exclusively for view "talkback" about FANTASY ISLAND (ABC) and MARTIAL LAW (CBS). This seemed to be a popular idea, although more people messaged me to tell me they liked the idea than actually posted to the talkbacks themselves. Damn peculiar.

Anyway, I’m going to be doing the same thing this week for two new debut series. MERCY POINT (UPN) will have a "talkback" page opened up Tuesday evening, as soon as the show begins airing across the country.

Last week, I posted a rather scathing review of MERCY POINT, but I would like to encourage readers of this page to watch the show and reach their own conclusions. Also, there’s a better-than-not chance that the "episode" I reviewed may have undergone some rather substantial changes. As much as I despised the screener-tape I watched, I still intend to view the opening episode when it is aired…noe that the episode is fully completed …just to see how it all came out.

On Wednesday, Coaxial will open a "talkback" for SEVEN DAYS (UPN). There were some rather interesting (and extravagant) talkbacks about SEVEN DAYS posted under my initial review of it, many of them dealing with time travel’s pros and cons, theoreticals and absolutes. Might be kind of interesting to see what happens on the "talkbacks" after the same readers & contributors have actually *seen* the show.

Watch these shows to have fun, but of you feel like it, watch them with a critical eye. Think of it this way - while I can’t make any promises as to whether or not your particular "talkback" might be seen by The Powers That Be, there’s a *very* good possibility that the people who are making these shows are lurking out there,…somewhere…and may well be reading every word you type. So be thoughtful and articulate, but say exactly what you feel like saying.

So there you have it. MERCY POINT "talkback" tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, SEVEN DAYS on Wednesday evening. Just come to the site like you always do - the talkbacks will be readily apparent as soon as they are open for business.

    wish I could see it

    I think 7 days looks pretty cool but I will not be able to watch it because my local upn station decided to be the wb instead so I can not watch any upn show now, not even star trek: voyager. If anyone reads this who might be willing to help me out by taping the shows then post something here and I will get back to you. The only shows I really want to watch are voyager, 7 days, and the sentinel (when it returns mid-season). Missing these shows is a real bummer!!

    Charmed?

    How about a talkback for Charmed, which airs on The WB tonight after Buffy? Its got potential. I'll give them credit for a sense of humor. The opening episode is titled "Something Wicca This Way Comes".

    Glen here...the site was down for many days...on for a few minutes...off again, and so forth. Icouldn't do *anything* about getting these talkbacks ready. All of the "talkback" pages I mentioned have been posted now that the situation has stabalized.**Glen**
