I am – Hercules!!

The Museum of Television and Radio’s always red-hot William S. Paley Festival brings together the creators and casts of popular TV series to screen episodes and answer questions at Los Angeles' DGA Theatre. Funnest thing ever. Learn more about it here.

Tickets went on sale to museum members a week ago. They go on sale here to non-members Feb. 2. That’s today! (If they’re not available at midnight, I’m guess they will be at 9 a.m. – that was the time a week ago when they went on sale to members.)

The bad news is museum members already snapped up all the tickets to about half of the events. The good news is they didn’t get ALL of them.

Here’s how the landscape stood as of 10 p.m. PT Wednesday night:

Feb. 28 Grey’s Anatomy SOLD OUT!

March 1 Entourage SOLD OUT!

March 2 Everybody Hates Chris

March 3 Battlestar Galactica SOLD OUT!

March 8 House SOLD OUT!

March 9 Family Guy SOLD OUT!

March 10 The Golden Girls SOLD OUT!

Wrong Guys name suits him well

    by youignorantgeeks

Are you kidding me? Do you know humor? American Dad has like one good joke a week if that (This week it was Come On Eileen) Family Guy is one of the funniest shows not only on TV today, but ever. I find it hard to believe they are from the same guy. I watch both, and American Dad isn't BAD per se... it is good... but I always have an annoyed feeling when watching it too, like annoyed that its nowhere near as funny as Family Guy... I mean having that in the middle of Family Guy and Entourage or Curb Your Enthusiasm... Its like a sandwich consisting of your average deli ham but the warmest best fresh baked Italian bread. So thats why Family Guy and not American Dad... your right.. popularity. But only because popularity, in this case... is because one show is ok/funny while the other show is one of the funniest shows ever. Family Guy DESERVES much more attention.

FG is NOT one of the funniest shows ever, You Ignorant Geek! Not

    by the wrong guy

First three seasons of FG were pretty darn good (or, at least, pretty darn funny). But American Dad, after a lacklustre first few ep's, has grown into what I believe is one of the most consistently funny half-hours on television. I honestly can't remember the last bad episode of AD, while FG has deteriorated into obscure pop-culture references that aren't funny. I like one episode of the new season/s, and that was Petarded. The rest are forgettable. I mean, they have their moments, no question- Gilmore Girls (predictable but still gold), Will Ferrel, Stewie at Woodstock- but whereas American Dad is building new characters and relationships (and I don't care what anyone says, AD is NOT a FG rip-off) and sustaining good character and situation based laughs from beginning to end, FG is still stuck in it's one-note jokes. And that would be fine-as I said, I liked the first three seasons of FG immensly- if these jokes WERE ACTUALLY FUNNY. But most of the new stuff isn't. It falls flat on it's ass. American Dad is the superior show. That's what I say, anyway.

..if I could go just to ask out Mary-Louise Parker. She seems cool and easy-oing and I think she might go for it. I bet that girl is freaky in bed.

  • Seriously, it's the sweetest episode outside of "Scrubs." Check it out. Download it. Ep. 13.

    Is anybody here watching SURFACE?

    by geronimo666

I wonder why the great new show SURFACE (NBC) isn't mentioned at aintitcool.com? This show is one of the best SciFi shows out there and no one talks about it!

    Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, SURFACE?

    by geronimo666

I agree it is a little goofy sometimes, but I love this elements as much as the rest of the show because it reminds me on the classic cliffhanger shows like Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon. Canceling this show will be a BIG mistake I think. It is a definitely alot of fun!
