Updates On WORST CASE SCENARIO Online Now!!

Published at:  Jan 30, 2006 4:57:42 PM CST

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

This is one of those long-in-development projects that we’ve been talking about for a while here at AICN, and it’s gotten a lot of coverage from the various horror sites out there, as well. Here’s a letter I got today:

Hello Mr. Aint-it-cool sirs

In case you missed it (which you did..) there is a new news post up over at Gorehound Inc. pertaining to the Richard-Raaphorst-apocalyptic-zombie-war-insanely-cool-as-all-hell-film WORST CASE SCENARIO that they have been trying to get off the ground for a while. You brought a few articles about the flick and the first promo a while back, a long while back, so i thought this might be of interest. Sadly the news story includes another setback in financing, nothing (or everything?..depends on your point of view) seems to be able to hold these guys back though:

"..We had to face the fact: this was a dead end. The AMF more or less coincided with the expiration of our contract with the American producers, so we decided to start looking for another way to get WCS off the ground.

We are now trying to get WCS financed in Holland - bringing it home, as it were. We'll have to bring the budget down, but we're pretty confident that regardless we can still get our dark, shocking and apocalyptic vision on the screen. We plan to have the cameras rolling later this year..."

What should lift your spirits though, is that they have put their CGI-demo-reel-promo-trailer-thingy online though, it's as, if not more, ass-kicking than the first promo, i won't spoil it, but what happens is a first for Nazi-zombies on screen. It's checkoutable in MINDBLOWING HD and also in standard quicktime.

I know this is not precisely Spiderman 3 news..but something this promising deserves all the support it can get...

Find it all, including the INSANELY COOL first promo, if you missed it, at Gorehound Inc.

Waxfinger.

Thanks, man. I’ll check it out.

"Moriarty" out.

my god those promos are long and uneventful

    by rupee88

Definitely let them load all the way before watching so you can FF through them. And I love the quote from Harry that it is the best film ever when the film doesn't even exist yet.

    "greatest film ever?"

    by d8thstar

hey dipshits, yeah, you. the ones who didn't notice the frickin question mark behind harry's quote. and before you say "well i included the question mark in the quote", note the contradiction in quoting the question mark and then saying "harry would say something like that". he didn't make a statement, he asked a question.

it's tuesday and it's getting late kids, do your homework and get some sleep. you are our future after all.

    Greatest Film Ever!

Hey Deigthstar, three questions: what's wrong wrong with irony? what's wrong with a literal quote? what's wrong with good old-fashioned exploitation?
