But I must agree. WEEDS is a great show with chutzpah. That's Yiddish for BALLS! Or some other language. I don't know. Sue me.

I feel bad for saying this, specifically because I'm sort of a secular Jew, but I wasn't entirely sure if "chutzpah" was Yiddish or Hebrew.

    Weeds was a pleasant suprise

    by zer0cool2k2

I thought after Showtime cancelled Dead Like Me, that there was no reason to not cancel my Showtime sub. I brought it back to catch Reefer Madness, and hung onto it to see how Weeds would be. I was pleasantly suprised to find it one of my favorite shows of the past year. and Mary Louise Parker has just gotten hotter post-childbirth.

    Next Summer, Or This Summer?

    by piratedtv

  • That the show was supposed to be a serious drama, and with the success of Desperate Housewives, Weeds was changed to mimick it. The rumor could be complete bullshit though because Weeds is far more superior to DH.

The ending of the first season was just too much of a "Oh shit!" ending to just leave it there.

I can't believe that doofus is actually a DEA Agent. It seemed a little too obvious that he'd leave a jacket that said it around.... unless he has absolutely no idea what she does for a living.

    Interesting...

    by jaka

...about the MLP rumor. Because I kept thinking the show was gonna go dark - but it always veered away right when I thought shit should get hectic. The writers obviously know a great deal about the subject matter. Because it's been dead on about pretty much everything relating to selling drugs. I could see it going darker. I would like to see it go darker even. But I like it bunches - so I'm glad it'll be back.

They have annoying kid, layabout brother-in-law, sassy mexican maid, sassy black woman, ghetto drug dealer, uptight WASPy bitches, etc. By all rights, this should be the most irritating show in the world.
