Hey folks... Quint back again. It looks like I was either blinded by exhaustion or the owner of the blog updated a little line in his blog after I ran the story (probably the former) saying that the pics aren't from the Wicker Man set, but of another set of buildings used for film and TV work owned by the stunt dude on the flick. At least that's a little bit of a relief that the Wicker Man won't look like an episode of Lonesome Dove... Sorry about the fake-out!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a link to where you can check out some pics from the set of Neil LaBute's remake of the cult classic weirdo Christopher Lee flick WICKER MAN. LaBute's got a good cast and is an interesting choice as director (although Ken Russell would have been too perfect for the movie). The set looks a lot more US Ghost town than it does creepy old European like in the original... I have no idea what to make of this movie... Ellen Burstyn is listed as playing Summerisle... does that mean she's playing this movie's version fo the Christopher Lee character from the original? Curiouser and curiouser...
