    Wow, Singer to direct Superman??

    by scarranhalfbreed

This is GREAT news. And Fantastic Four may not suck - don't diss a movie before it's released. I'm, I'm seeing colours. My brain... unravelling at the seams...

    Spider-man 2

    by jar jar 4 prez

...is definitely not Marvel's crown jewel. For effects, sure. Those fight scenes were great. But the first Spider-man and X-men 2 were both better movies.

This article was first posted a long time ago. Is there a special reason why it is being posted again?

    CONSPIRACY

    by tophat

Aha! Harry and company are so in Singer's backpocket that they've actually sunk low enough to post a false headline only to have yet ANOTHER promotion of SUPERMAN RETURNS . . . which isn't out till next year. Next, they're going to be posting headlines like "SECRETS FOR ENTIRE LOST SEASON REVEALED" only to have a gushing review of the texture of Superman's cape waiting for the trusting reader. Pretty sneaky sis.

"But the first Spider-man and X-men 2 were both better movies."

    by voice o. reason

The first Spider-Man would've been better without the cheesy way the Green Goblin was handled. I tend to agree that Spider-Man 2 was their best movie, although X-Men 2 was very good.

    Stephen Hunter's email address

    by clarence worely

That was one of the most inane, insipid and self important reviews I have ever read. I have uncovered the email address of the Washington Post's amazingly stupid movie critic, Stephen Hunter. He doesn't list it, but it was relatively easy to find: hunters@washpost.com. I leave it in the creative hands of AICN TBers to email their inner dialog and pent up feelings about his X2 review (and other reviews) to him. Do us proud talkbackers, do us proud.

So, you guys are just pissed because he didn't like X2...

    by chickychow

Cripes, grow up kids, you're the goons he's making fun of! He actually gets a few things right, the movie is way too long and the dam that takes up way too much time at the end is a pretty lame setting.

Voice O Reason: Thanx for the link!!!

    by theimperialguy

You guys HAVE to go read that review of X2 Voice O Reason posted; it doesn't make any sense!!! We geeks should BOMBARD this reviewer's e-mail box about this!!! Here's my favorite quote from it: "The rest remain ciphers, the saddest being Anna Paquin, whose character's mutant talent, other than ugly mall-droog hair, appears to be to make things happen backward. I guess. She's some kind of Mistress of Rewind. No one in the movie could really be said to act, or if they do, the director, Bryan Singer, shunts them aside so fast it doesn't register."

Spidey III Villains confirmed by Dunst.

    by mostholy

I dunno why this talkback is still here, but ComingSoon says Kirsten Dunst told reporters the Spidey III villains are Sandman (Church) and Venom (Grace). I thought it'd be Sandman and Electro myself. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=11332
