Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the very first TV spot for HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. It's got precious seconds of new footage, although most of it is a condensed version of the new theatrical trailer. However you do get a few cool bits for taking the time to download the spot, like some underwater wandwork. This movie can't get here fast enough for me. Enjoy the spot!!!

Click it here for the spot hosted by the good folks at!

So, the girls from Beauxbaton's fart chirping little birdies

    by kintar0

Or am I misunderstanding what the collective sigh's about? There's this chick in my film class that compares everything we watch to LOTR and Harry Potter and I want to behead her every time she speaks. And I even like Harry Potter, but I'd never tell her. Because she's fat and no, sorry, "City Lights" and "Prisoner Of Azkaban" aren't similiar and no, Peter Jackson's first film wasn't "Fellowship."

    Darth Jesus

by Flummage made cry with laughter into my bowl of cornflakes - it was either you, synchronised magic farting, or the fat girl from your film class. Maybe that this "big-boned" girl is where all Peter Jackson's belly fat has really gone? Now that he doesn't want it? It has somehow assumed the identity of a teenage girl, and is trying to forge a career of it's own? Except it just can't let go of it's love for it's master...Either way I have a stain on the lower part of my dressing gown that wasn't there before. Ahem. Honest.

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 4:37 a.m. CST

    by Flummage

The brand new stain on my dressing gown is from the milk, spluttered my post Darth jesus ravaged mouth, gaffawing like a donkey, and not any other .... white fluids. *narrows eyes in a judgemental fashion* Filthy minded low lifes. I had to get this is in, before one of u came up with a punchline with "full cream" in it. *narrows eyes even further*

Potter uses his powers for selfish reasons; creating a huge tentacle wang. He even made a condom for it that complements his costume.

    Obligatory Hermione Post

    by Itchy

She'll be drinking something out of that goblet, but it ain't going to be fire. Yeow !

    You know this talkback......

by ROBE is just no fun without Ribbons to argue with. Anyway I am glad they have included the mini dragons the champions pull out of a bag, the moving model they pick is the same species they each have to face in the 1st Task. Hopefully the movie will include the mini Viktor Krum Action Figure (TM)that Ron buys because he is such a fan. He then takes revenge on it when the real Krum starts dating Hermione.

This looks like a great flick, can't wait to see it. :)

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 2:27 p.m. CST

    by blackthought

how come you ain't flaming Newell for the change in Krum's character? I mean seriuosly...when did Krum turn into some jock linebacker built like a fridge?

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 2:48 p.m. CST

Blackthough, how did Krum's description go?

    by Bean_

Wasn't he a think sickly kind of dude? That's what I remember from my last reading. :\

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 3:05 p.m. CST

    by blackthought

he was thin, sickly, hunhed, quiet and scowling or something...not some big whole jock who celebrates when his name gets out of the goblet like the trailer showed of krum but whatver...hopefully he'll die in the next book...jk...or maybe not.

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 3:23 p.m. CST

    Flaming krum

    by Noeland

If people flame, folks get mad, if they don't, someone want to know why they aren't? Jeez. I remember krum being an ugly fellow, but I also remember him being described as a jock, large and athletic. He was playing in the quittich world cup when introduced, he's a sports celebrity, is he not? Unless I am confusing him with someone else, I remember him being jockish.

  • Sept. 21, 2005, 4:24 p.m. CST

    by Colonel_Blimp

is not jockish. blackthoughts description is pretty accurate. you remember incorrectly noeland. newell has "reimagined" him.

  • Oooh....diss(?)

  • Sept. 22, 2005, 10:59 a.m. CST

This is a trick question Blackthought?

    by ROBE

You seriously can't be asking me this? Oh well there is one born every minute. I don't flame Newell for "re-imagining" Viktor Krum for the simple reason (wait for it)he has not been re-imagined. This is his first appearance in the movies, so he is an interpretation. A character is only a re-imagining if they have been changed from their original appearance in the same medium. Now if Newell were to do a re-imagining of Moaning Myrtle I will be the first to flame him. YAWN! Hardly worth answering that one was it? PS See my comments about Patil.

    4 new Posters

    by monorail77

Those posters are hilarious - each one has a champion in the foreground with their love interest in the background (or at least the person that did or wanted to go with them to the yule ball). Except Harry's poster: that has Mad Eye Moody in the background. Ooooooh - Harry loves Moody! I'm telling! No gay man-boy love at Hogwarts please.
