I love Depp's talent, but dislike the man very much. thsi film would have been more inspired had he been playing Charlie in his later years looking for a third inheritor to the factory. Instead, we get Urko covered in chocolate.

is that supposed to build our excitement to read the review? quite honestly it makes no sense to me. but hey, i see it as a buffer, if i know that harry might go into a sexual franzie over how much a movie was like "insert sexual act here" i can click on it and then stop myself before the horror upon horrors is unleashed upon my poor eyes.

tim burton needs to stop turning out the same bland artistic hot topic shit he keeps handing us now. Granted scissor hands was good but, come on all his movies seem to have the same vibe and cast. the vibe would be "im tim burton look how wierd and strange and artistic i am" and yes at one time you were creative but now he keeps giving us the same shit. the corpse bride find another topic besides death or some gothy theme, and find some different actors; granted jhonny depp is a good actor but in my opinion Tims movies give him some of the worst roles. Any way Im just dissapointed that tim burton has raped yet another beloved classic.

Just got back from seeing that atrocious movie. No charm, no finesse. It was as if Burton and Depp got together, rolled a big fatty and said "Let's just make it reaaaaalllyyyy fuckin' weird...man!"
