PREQUEL DOCUMENTARY ON VIDEO
This Email was found resting in our storage slot upon our return from Dragon Con. And I (Father Geek) feel many of you SW fans may be interested in contacting Jeff about his project, so I chose to reproduce his info here for those of you who want to make use of it.
-For all those Star Wars fans out there (oh, I know you're out there), my
name's Jeff Cioletti, and I've been shooting a video documentary on the
building anticipation for Episode I. (Working Title: "Millennium's End:
Far,
Far Away). I've been compiling interviews and capturing all sorts of
happenings associated with the greatest film saga of all time, as fans gear
up
for the movie of the decade. I started shooting just over a year ago and
will
continue to do so until May 21, the most eagerly-awaited date of the past
16
years. It's been an incredible challenge, but it's also been the most fun
one
could actually have without actually being in the film. This is not a
"making
of" production, a la Lynn Hale. I am in no way affiliated with Lucasfilm.
This
is for and about the legions of fans who will be responsible for bringing
the
Star Wars legacy into the next millennium. I've had the opportunity to meet
a
number of very cool people, including AICN's Harry Knowles, the guys from
JediNet (www.jedinet.com), T'Bone Fender's Star Wars Universe
(www.starwarz.com), theforce.net (www.theforce.net) and many others who are
losing sleep waiting for the release. And, there will be a couple of
surprise
"guest stars." If you'd like more information, my website is going up this
week at www.fadproductions.com. You can e-mail me at lifelib@aol.com or
cioletti@fadproductions.com (My production company is Far Away Discourse
Productions).
May the force be with you!---
Hope this is not too long. Thanks again, Harry.
Jeff
