Trailer Online Now For THE CONSTANT GARDENER, From The Director Of CITY OF GOD!!

Published at:  Jun 20, 2005 3:45:01 AM CDT

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

We’ve had some bad buzz on this film, but I remain optimistic. Fernando Meirelles made an amazing debut with CITY OF GOD, and I have faith that he’ll make something equally interesting this time out. I like this trailer a lot, the first footage I’ve seen from the film, and look forward to Focus starting their screenings for it.

Hi Harry,

Just wanted to let you know Yahoo! has added the trailer from 'City of
God' director Fernando Meirelles' 'The Constant Gardener' with Ralph
Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Danny Huston, and Pete Postlethwaite + 4 Production Photos.

CLICK HERE FOR THE TRAILER AND THE PHOTOS!!

I read the first report (very negative) from your page but I cannot believe the movie is so bad. The trailer looks great!!!

Bye, KoTy

Thanks for the heads-up.

"Moriarty" out.

I gather as much. City of God was great because it didnt have Hollywooders trying to be brazillians in a fuckin slum! This looks like Ang Lee doing Jane Austen! BaDAM!

    this trailer was terrible

    by slone13

I can't say anything for how the movie will be, but that trailer is awful. It reveals way too much and leaves almost nothing up to question. We know some little black girl is being murdered, slowly it seems, so that no one can tell. We know that Ralph's wife figures this out. We know Ralph's wife gets murdered. We know he decides to avenge her murder by solving the "case". We know they try to kill him, too. The only thing we don't know, but I'm willing to bet certainly happens at the end, is whether or not Ralph DOES avenge his wife's murder.

    that trailer was fucking stupid

    by white owl

how could you like that? It looks like some craptastic newcomer director given too much starpower and budget, and everything becomes shit. It looks like two different movies cut together.

I hate to say that about the director of ony of my favorite movies in recent years, but I must be honest.
