Holy Crap! Aardman Studios to sculpt creatures from the mind of John Cleese!'!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... I might just label today as News of the Weird Day (sponsored by Cannes Film Festival and Market!). First we have David Lynch with a film outta the blue, now we have an announcement that John Cleese is writing the next animated feature for Aardman (CHICKEN RUN, WALLACE AND GROMIT, of course!). Aardman Studios have been busy little bees lately as they have FLUSHED AWAY and the Wallace and Gromit flick CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT. Now a Cleese scripted comedy?
I had the great pleasure to meet John Cleese at the Santa Barbara Film Festival earlier this year and thank him for being gracious and kind when he did a phone interview with me to promote the MEANING OF LIFE DVD. He was just as much of a gentleman (with a wise-ass streak, of course) in person, which was a huge relief to me being such a huge fan of his work.
It appears he's cooking up a "pre-historic comedy" for Aardman at the moment and I can't wait to see these two unique comic minds mesh together! What about you?
