Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... I'm a big fan of seeing a reimagined Joker in a potential sequel to BATMAN BEGINS... what would you call that, by the way? BATMAN CONTINUES? BATMAN BEGINS... AGAIN? Anyway, seems David Goyer chatted with Premiere Magazine and detailed some of the structure of possible sequels to BATMAN BEGINS. Who do you want to face down Christian Bale? Who'd look great in the white, green and red? Crispin Glover has my vote. What about Harvey Dent? I wanna see Arkham on the big screen! For real! Without neon!
As read in the latest Premiere magazine featuring Batman Begins, Goyer states the next film will involve the Joker ... "The next one would have Batman enlisting the aid of Gordon and Dent in bringing down the Joker- .... but not killing him, which is a mistake they made in the first one". The article then says that "In the third, the Joker would go on trial, scarring Dent in the process."
Sounds like the setup for an amazing trilogy (at least, trilogy in terms of original cast ... as I believe Bale, Oldman and Caine all signed 3 picture deals).
