SWEEPS: DAY TWO!! TREK & DINNER!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
After tonight, only 26 days until the end of sweeps and the end of the season!!
1) “Enterprise” continues with its “Mirror Mirror” prequel as Evil Archer has to contend with a different FutureGuy than the one to which Good Archer is accustomed. Two notes on this: A) Of course Trip is supposed to look like Spock’s old radiation-scarred captain, Chris Pike. B) The evil theme song is maybe a million times better than the good theme song, and everyone who’s heard both knows this.
On a related note, Paramount sent over today the last episode of “Star Trek” ever. Turns out? NOT appalling. In fact, the never-disappointing Jolene Blalock, who called the episode “appalling,” is one of the best things about it. Also? There are things in the episode I’ve not seen reported anywhere. (The voices of Troi, Riker and Data are not the only familiar ones we hear!!) Also also? “These Are the Voyages… “ represents a far far better send-off for “Star Trek” generally, and the “Next Generation” crew in particular, than that flaccid, feculent, insulting “Nemesis” feature. More later.
2) Jon Favreau’s “Dinner For Five” is the best talk show on television, better than “Conan,” better than “Letterman,” better than “The Bernard Pivot Show,” probably the best talk show ever, and no one talks about it because it’s on IFC, and nobody bothers to subscribe to IFC. More’s the pity!!
What’s so great about “Dinner For Five”? A) No pre-interview. Favreau actually asks questions to which he’s curious to know the answers. B) Editing. A long leisurely dinner conversation is taped, but they just air the most interesting 30 or 40 minutes. C) Wine is served; everybody’s always a little hammered, and there is much candor. D) It's on a premium cable channel. No bleeping ever. Many cusswords are employed, often to hilarious effect.
Guests on tonight’s “Dinner For Five”? “O Brother Where Art Thou” vets Stephen Root and Tim Blake Nelson, David Duchovny (who likely will not discuss the reviews “House of D” is getting) and one of those guys who helped engineer some “Punk’d” pranks (Sorry, girls, it’s not Ashton!! So sad for you!!).
”Star Trek: Enterprise”: 8 p.m. Friday. UPN.

And i have nothing to say. Yet I feel the need to not leave the talkback empty. Jolene Blalock is hot.
-
people jumped on her appaling comment, yet didnt hear about all the cast upon viewing the actual episode changing their views of it. A lot of people were upset more about TNG being involved than the actual episode being bad, but Coto went on record saying the REAL final is the Demons two parter dealing with (spoiler) Trip and T'Pols baby being murdered by anti-alien factions on earth (spoiler) and that TATV is supposed to be like B5s ending where there was a epologue after the final.
-
and its been reported everywhere.
-
Sheesh I should read better
-
I'm still betting that Future guy was actually Riker. After all, other than getting them thrown into trouble all of the time, future guy saved the Enterprise from Destruction several times over. But does any one credit him with that? NO! Poor, unapreciated bastard!
But seriously, it makes sense in a way. -
...far more consistent. "Dinner" just doesn't match the genius and heart put into Conan every night but I'll give you the fact that Dinner is a GREAT talk show. Did anyone see last week (or the week before?) with Jason Bateman and Jeffery Tambor? Basically their own ep of Arrested Development. Both of these shows combined puts Jay to absolute shame. What a waste he continues to be of the good "Tonight Show" name.
-
You know...I lost interest in this show after the first season, And I consider myself a trek fan. I started watching about halfway through this last season, and have been pleasently surprised. Last weeks episode had me grinning for an hour and actually LOOKING FORWARD to this weeks episode. Thats the first time that has ever happened. I want everyone here who is or was once a trak fan to think back. TNG, DS9 & even the tepid Voyager didn't come into their own untill their fourth seasons. Seasons 1&2 of each were pretty take it or leave it. Season 3 was where they started to 'get it together', and by season four all three shows had their rhythm figured out. Yes, even Voyager. That show was never as good as TNG & DS9, but it did find it's own little balance. Now here we are with Enterprise in the exact same situation, and it's going the way of the dodo. It's just too bad. I'll tell you this though...the worst thing Paramount could do is churn out another Trek series or movie anytime in the next 5 or so years. Give this universe a rest. Let everything go through the cycle of hated to forgotten to remembered to longing. Come back in 2010 with something that just kicks our asses. Set it at least 200 years after TNG era on the Enterprise. No bloody A,B,C,D,E or any other fucking letter. Christ, the navy doesn't feel the need to put a letter after a name that has a history behind it, and they reuse ship names quite often. Bleh...now i'm just ranting....
-
The only reason they did -A was out of the fear fans wouldnt relate to the new ship, which was the only reason that the "refit" was even a refit at all (in the original drafts of TMP, the Enterprise was a new ship with a 1801 designation instead of a 1701)
-
I am so sick of hearing that the problem with Enterprise is that it was not given enough time to develop. PLEASE!!! Give me a fucking break! TNG took a little while to find it's legs because it was over 15 years since the last series! Not to mention the fact that by taking place in the future, they had to create a whole new Trek world. But forgetting all that, the first two seasons of TNG had some great episodes, good hard sci-fi adventures, like Where No One Has Gone Before and Q Who, just to mention two. The problem with Enterprise is that the cast is dull, their interaction banal, and their acting atrocious. Jolene Blalock is horribly miscast, and ACTS like a Vulcan, instead of BEING a Vulcan. Nimoy was great cause he never played to the whole notion of being a Vulcan, he simply WAS one, which is the definition of good acting. And the less said about Bakula the better. That fucking horseface needs to retire and never return to TV, he is simply woeful to watch. I tuned into Enterprise last week for the first time since the first season, and it has actually gotten worse. But hey, I am a sucker for Mirror Universe eps. And leave it to Enterprise to ruin even the MU. Fuck this!
-
The MU episode was real good , please go back to watching the OC and leave the sci fi to people who can handle it :) J/K , actually I agree with your TNG theorys,.the 1st 2 seasons do have some good episodes its just cool to say that every TNG series sucks till season 4 cause the 3 series that followed it did have that happen to them but I think TNG was not bad at all during a lot of the first 2 or 3 seasons episodes..and I think Jolene does a great job as T'Pol , but then again I am in love with the chick so I may be a bit biased :)
-
It should read every STAR TREK series not every TNG series , my apologies..
-
the "mirror universe" crap simply reflects the creators' subconscious hatred of trek...
Perhaps not subconscious, perhaps just subtle enough that the ape people who actually like enterprise won't notice. Though it's more likely they're just in denial that another Star Trek series is actually NOT GOOD. Go ahead, ask people who like good things - they'll agree. -
"Really, I thought it rocked and was the perfect way to end the Next Generation series." Not a fan of the Next Generation then? Glad to see them exit on such a lame note? Or are you Rick Berman's agent in disguise?
-
No King Conan even if Arnold DOES come to his sense!!! How come Harry hasn't reported this grossly disgusting news? I know it ain't "cool news" exactly, but that has never stopped him before. ********************* I can't say I like the Mirror Universe theme song, actually. It's better than the Good theme, yeah, but it's still a disappointment. They so should have used "Bad to the Bone." **************** Wow, the finale doesn't suck? Hmmm. I doubt the fans that have liked Enterprise will agree. A friend of mine has been insanely loyal and hasn't liked anything she's seen since the news of the cancellation came down. She tells me that her posse of other Enterprise fans (don't ask me how many) hate the mirror episodes so far. I don't know what she's thinking, and she acts like the cancellation was so unexpected and like Enterprise never had a chance to hook an audience. Oh if only Miracles or Wonderfalls or Firefly or Freaks and Geeks had been given the same four-season no chance that Enterprise got.
-

Yes the Mirror opening theme is better, but in no way is it good
by big jim
It sounds like they had 3 or 4 pieces of music that they just played at the same time. But I like that they at least had the idea to mix it up a little and change the opening for these two episodes. But if it were a true Mirror episode, should there not have been a song over the opening titles? Something like "The Mob Rules" by Black Sabbath (can be found on the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack).
-
Now is that www.everywhere.com? or trekconvention cafe? or snippyinsiders.alt
-
They said that this ship was not going to be staffed with perfect humans. They were going to be rough and much more like people we know. That's why the MU episodes almost fulfill the promise of Enterprise. You could see survivors of an atomic war blundering out into the galaxy to kick ass and having to learn some very hard lessons. Backula, if he could act, would almost be interesting as the barbarian captain of an early earth fleet. Unfortuneatly it never came to be. Characters like Malcolm and Mayweather could have been replaced by cardboard cutouts and most of the time Blalock stands around like an extra in Queen of Outer Space.
In short, everyone is either dull or too frickin' nice. -

Well, this will be -I hope - my last post on Trek. I've said all that I needed to. My beloved franchise (at least until Voyager and Enterprise) died because complex story telling was out of fashion. "High concept", Temporal Reset Button shows became all the rage. Who needs characterization when all you really need to do is show women in cat suits and bad actors like Bakula and Mulgrew prattle on like CEO's of American corporations? I cannot change the minds of (maybe) 3 million people who watch this show. They're convinced that the 10 million who turned the channel are dumb. That logic does not hold up, but that's what they're sticking too. Anyway, I'll watch the show -if I'm not busy - but think its pointless (oh, much like Voyager and Enterprise) now to say a word. I have hopes that Star Trek will return, with a better concept, better writers, producers and above all, actors. I'm waiting for the future of Trek. This present just bores the hell out of me.
-
In an interview yesterday John Billingsly (Dr. Phlox) confirmed that most of the cast didn't care for the Enterprise finale. He said that the cast felt it was a "TNG episode" and felt like supporting players in their own series. How insulting!
-
I agree with the comment that Enterprise (in fact almost all of the Trek's after the original series) were staffed with "perfect humans." I know it was Roddenberry's wish that man would have evolved into something more reasonable and less savage by the 23rd Century. However, perfect humans do not make for good drama. That's why I am enjoying Battlestar Galactica so much more than any Star Trek series in years and years. The people are human: they have flaws and their petty squabbles. Battlestar is what I had hoped Voyager and then Enterprise after it would be. I look around me, and I see war and man's destruction of the planet. Our only hope right now is that we find a way off this planet before we totally destroy this one. That may take another couple of hundred years, and frankly, I don't see human nature changing much in that brief period of time.
-
I've held out hope for Enterprise, despite being let down so many times. I was even disappointed by T-Pol's bare back, She looks like a boy...
http://www.celebritymoviearchive.com/members/thumbs/j/Jolene-Blalock-Enterprise-Bare-Butt.jpg -
T'Pol doesn't actually look like a boy. She's just the most masculine person in that picture.
-
Matter of taste. I like Leno OK, but he's pretty vanilla. I love Conan's comedy, but his interviews are pretty poor. He can't go 2 minutes without making it all about himself and going off on some weird tangent. Carson Daly's bits aren't usually very funny. His interviews are genius though. I don't even know who most of his guests are, yet I find the discussions fascinating. Letterman- his humor has always struck me as kinda mean. Kimmel - I preferred tha Man Show. Girls Jumping on Trampolines!!!!
-
The scary part is that Travis and Malcolm are equally as feminine, if not more. As far as the ACTUAL ladies go, I've always been partial to Hoshi. Yummy Hoshi.
-
Last week's ep of Enterprise was awesome! It took risks by being totally set in the mirror universe, but at the same time it explored elements from the Trek universe, such as what the Tholian's look like as well as just what happened to the U.S.S. defiant! It was a great sign of what Enterprise was becoming! If there was no fourth season of Next Gen, then there would be no borg. THink about that. Warp 11 plays tomorrow! The new cd "Boldly Go Down on Me" is sold out all over the place! The time of Warp 11 is now! Trek can rock! www.warp11.com, www.warp11bb.com
-
And an insult to the greatness that is the TNG cast, especially Picard and Data. And what was up with the Wesley hateration? Does anyone know if his scene is in the deleted scenes section of the DVD?
-
Damn fine ending to a great two-parter.
-
Leaving so soon, EM? Say it ain't so. Surely you can hang around for the thrilling finale. Besides, who else is worthy of my world-class taunting?
-
The DS9 crew was WAY better, the Voyager lot just about better (look, the less said about Voyager the better IMO) and of course the TNG cast pisses all over Enterprise's. You can say what you like about the TNG crew, but Patrick Stewart was such an inspired piece of casting, and how anyone could possibly live up to him as captain of the Enterprise I don't know. So who do they cast? Fucking Bakula. That was one of the worst decisions made for Enterprise. Another was trying to have a 'hot' Vulcan instead of a good character and good actress. The rest of the crew are just tedious to watch. I mean, at least you can look at Jolene Blalock's tits if the shitty plots start to turn your brain into pus. Enterprise was a GOOD concept, but they should have waited a few years before they started it, and actually treat it like it was something important istead of just getting anyone to 'star' in it and write for it. And (I'll say this for the last time) FUCK THE THEME SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by kabong
Rick Berman, executive-producer of Star Trek: Enterprise, told SCI FI Wire that he believes the decline in ratings that led to the series' cancellation was the result of an oversaturation of the franchise. "There are a lot of people who criticized us for saying what I'm about to say, but I do believe that there was some degree of fatigue with the franchise," Berman said in a conference call interview.
-
Great episode, one of the best ever for Trek history! Loved the ending, true to what Trek was. Archer was way better this week, and that ship owns! Wonderful, just wow.
-
there's a shitload of money to be made for some charity if Paramount would just hold an Ebay auction to - Be A Security Guard For A Day, you get to drive Berman and Braga off the lot in a golf cart, toss their asses into the street and throw their Xerox box of possessions at them and say... "Get the fuck out of here and NEVER darken our doors again", then you get to go to their parking spot (which have been treated with a special chemical) so that when you piss on their names, they dissolve and melt away. Now that was a good piss. I would bid 50K for that privilege, and I'm sure some Trek fan(s) would up it to half a million. Hell, Jerri Ryan might do it for that much. As for tonight's show, it was very well done, kudos to whomever did Ted Cassidy's voice for the Gorn, since Lurch has been gone for many years, whomever did it got it dead on. But what was up with the 2nd Archer telling himself what to do? That was just stupid. Next I expected to see a little devil show up on his shoulder and say... kill them all! This definitely should have been the last two-parter, there's no way the next two weeks could match what they did in these last two. Just my 2
-
I haven't watched Enterprise since the first season, and by the end of that I wasn't watching at all. I tuned in tonight for whatever reason, and I was thrilled, actually thrilled to see the old ships, sets, uniforms, aliens, props. If there is ever a new series, I would love to see it set during the the time of the TOS with all of its retro look and with the same kind collaborative scrip writers.
-
THE GORN RULE BITCHES!!!
-
That entire Gorn segment was better than the last 2 Alien movies!
And did anybody notice non of the main characters actually died. Archer was just knocked out, Reed is still in sickbay and T -
I really liked the 2-parter but I have a problem. How was Archer able to take on a Gorn even rolling around with it? In the original, Captain Kirk hit one with a large rock and barely slowed it down. This one looked too Reptilian. I also think you guys are being too tough on T'Pol. In the mirror universe the Vulcans were not evil, just took on the evil aspects of their conquerors the Terrans (us). I liked the way Archer was taken out by Hoshi (what an idiot, even I knew she was going to poison him. What a dope!) and the way she was going to re-conquer earth makes sense. Using the technology and plans of the Defiant, it would lay the groundwork for their conquest of space so one day that Enterprise would be hovering and beaming up it's landing crew at the exact same moment as the true Enterprise that we know. It's a shame this show couldn't have come up with ideas fresh that fit the original series while creating something on its own. And another thing; that theme song rocked!
-
Here's my idea of a great episode. The Enterprise finds an old relic out in space. They investigate to find out that it is an old device left after a war was fought. T'Pol believes it should not be disturbed but our boys believe otherwise. Playing with it triggers a device that starts firing at the Enterprise and soon starts heading for Earth. In a nutshell, one of the crew sacrifices themselves to stop it and they believe it's over unaware that before it self-destructed, it sent out a homing signal thousands of light years away and triggered another Doomsday machine to head for Earth. The End, with a bigggg question mark.
-
I thought it was a rerun of "Quantum Leap" and changed the channel.
-
...have they been keeping THIS version of Enterprise for the past four seasons? Intriguing situations? Exciting characters?
This sure as hell isn't the show I've been indifferently tuning into on the odd Friday. And I don't where they've been keeping 'Sexy Hoshi' locked up all these seasons, but they sure as s--t should have let her out sooner than this. I always thought Linda Park was a beautiful woman but let's face it, she and the Black Guy were two of the most underused characters on that show. The control panels on the bridge were more interesting than they've been in the past four years. But Park, Blaylock and even Bakula really came through on this episode. Nicely done, everyone. Too bad it's too little too late.
-
I understand that you are retarded, and I appreciate when the simple folk present their ideas. I applaude you. Very good. Playing with triggers and doomsday and such. Excellent! Now eat your yogurt. No, no, don't spit. Eaaat, good.
-
That problem is, and always will be attributed to Mr. Rick Berman. He simply did what no Borg cube or Romulan Warbird could ever do- destroy the Enterprise without firing a shot. Since taking over for the dearly departed Gene Roddenberry in 1991, Berman has steered this franchise into oblivion with his complete lack of intelligence and talents for this business of making any TV series. He has absolutely zero abilities to make a decent series or movie.
To complete his utter stupidity to it utmost, he designs a new Star Trek series without the slightest idea of what to do. He casted so POORLY for this series, it makes you wonder if this guy graduated from high school.
Scott Bakula as Capt. Archer?
Complete and total miscast mistake. Bakula is a lousy actor, who has no range, nor ability. Jolene Blaylock is HORRIBLE as a Vulcan. I agree with 'Thunderballs' who said that she tries to act Vulcan, but she can't BE a Vulcan! There is a huge difference.
Simply put, this series is poorly cast, poorly acted, poorly written, poorly directed, and it showed. To quote Spock, who said this to Commodore Decker, after he foolishly attacked the Planet Killing Doomsday Machine:
"...the result was a wrecked ship, and a dead crew."
Funny, but it sure sounds like a marvelous epitaph for Rick Berman's Star Trek franchise graveyard. He will forever be known as the man who killed Star Trek. This is a sad day for all of us. -
Not really. I hate Star Trek.
-
Not hardly. The bet sendoff of the TNG crew, as far as I'm concerned, was "All Good Things"...which, lest we forget, was co-written by Brannon Braga. I'm getting sick of his stories where the timeline gets screwed around with, but even I have to admit that "AGT" was one of his better efforts. What would have happened if Ronald Moore and Ira Steven Behr had been involved on "Insurrection" and "Nemesis"? I weep for those two films. And Darth Bono, if you don't like it, don't post here. Troll.
-
Two really good fun episodes. Makes up for that one shitty episode two weeks ago. Funny how so many TV shows, movies and books all have a woman being the downfall of some guy. Too funny.
-
Needs more agonizers.
-
I've always suspected the bad press from the cast of Enterprise about this episode stems mainly from the fact that it involves a lot of stuff from other Trek shows. Mainly TNG. Which for me isn't a bad thing.
-
We all know what you think in triplicate. Also you have the mistaken idea that everyone ( or even most ) think like you. The numbers on Enterprise reflect what happened in the first season and the jaded american public. Weakness now days in the first seaon is death for a show. No matter what they do later it's over. We also know that this won't be your last post. You've got more ways to repeat what you've already said up your sleeve I'm sure.
-
Ok, this two parter had everything the fans have been waiting 3 years for. Great writing, and the actors really pulled it off. God, how they wasted Linda Park for 3 years. She shows she can be hotter than Blalock any day of the week. The Gorn rocked. The Tholians rocked. The Defiant rocked. I love how we got to see parts of a Constitution class starship we never got to see in TOS, but the look and feel was consistant with the era. They need to come back with a 2 hour mirror universe movie that shows how Archer retakes the Defiant and becomes emporer. Of course, what i'd give my left nut for would be a new series based in the TOS era, set on a Constitution class starship. From this episode, we know it could work.
-
T'pol is on the bridge. Archer takes her weapons from her and tells his men to escort her to the airlock to do away with her. T'pol is wearing a miniskirt. Next scene: T'pol is talking with Dr. Flox (sp?) in a hallway planning their destruction of the Defiant. What happened there? Next scene: T'pol's clothes are completely different and she has all her weapons back, etc... What the fuck? Did anybody watch this shit before they aired it? Sloppy, very sloppy.
-
Mike Sussman did a great job with the mirror universe episodes. How cool would it have been if we got to see that mirror Kirk episode that Judith and Garfield Reeves Stevens wrote.
Shatner would have been fucking awesome as mirror Kirk. -
Racist garbage posted all over the place with impunity by shitbags like ForeverTJ and vikingkitty, blatent studio cocksucking by Harry and crew and a truly crappy UI have made this site one of the toilets of the internet. Anybody wants me I'll be over at cinescape.com, CHUD or cinemablend: timelier movie/TV/etc news and analysis of far higher quality than this sewer, and far more intelligently run! Plus they don't *selectively* enforce their own rules either - unlike here, eh fatboy? AICN = FUCKTARD ZOO. And I'm out like a herd of turtles.
-
Not everyone bashes the Enterprise theme. Some enjoy it. Fuck you.
-
Weird to see that wimpy new president from 24 also starring on as the Admiral on the mirror universe episode. That dude is so good playing the wimp its hard to see him in a different light :)
-
WHY does this show have to be going off the air NOW??? This is so much better now than when it began. Things I liked about this two-parter: The Defiant! Classic TOS set design! Hoshi's sweet ass (mercy)! Things I DIDN'T like: Man-in-costume Gorn better than CGI Gorn by a mile. Do brothers EVER get to do anything on TV besides kill white guys and screw their women? (not that that's a bad thing, I'm just saying) Bakula's indefensibly bad acting, i.e., "Watch my strained neck muscles. WATCH MY NECK!" He single-handedly held back what could have been a classic Trek episode.
-
I think someone should mention the work of two good actors in thankless parts. Connor Trineer and John Billingsley. While Bakula chewed the scenery, Blalock looked serious and Hoshi and Mayweather waited to be given lines, Trineer and Billingsley did their best to keep the nonsense down to a minimum. Let's hope they work again.
-
A smooth white starwhip. Pistol grip hand phasers set to destroy. Gorn. The Kirk green v-neck Captains sweater. Redshirts. A multi-alien crew with blues and greens. Photon torpedos. Flip-top communicators. Brightly colored knobs and a square of blue plastic as a computer recording medium. Raising shields. The mirror universe. Photon torpedoes - fire when ready. *** No, this is not what I waited for for four years since Enterprise debuted. This was not what I waited for for eighteen years since TNG debuted, or twenty years since The Motion Picture. THIS WAS WHAT I WAITED FOR since STAR TREK was canceled. Too little too late, but thank you anyway.
-
T'Pol asks how Malcolm is doing (after he gets blowed up real good chasing the Gorn.) Phlox snickers and says, "He could go either way." Hah! I KNEW IT! Not that there's anything wrong with that...
-
But I have to admit, this two-parter was a nice example of what they COULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! The scenes in Defiant were great. The costumes were great. The GORN was great. WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE US ALL OF THIS IN THE BEGINNING instead of at the end when the show has failed? THIS is what I wanted out of Enterprise, or ANY new Trek show. The classic era. The classic technology in the ships. The classic storytelling style, but with updated ideals and effects..! This two-parter was a glimpse of what could have been, and it was sweet to see. It's such a shame they went the whole "future guy/fuck with continuity/Enterprise before USS Enterprise" route, because Archer would have worked MUCH better in the Kirk era. Also, I have to say- Linda Park looked HOT as an evil person, and Blalok looked pretty good in those belly-showing uniforms. A great episode, that almost redeems the show... Almost.
-
Well what can I add? I loved the both episodes a lot! From " Porthos " to the Constitution class ship I loved it. That is one thing I can say that they did something I thought was impossible. They acctually made that old ship look sleek. Zooming around turning the lesser ships into junk. Also I liked Bakula's slowly going nuts with power. His imagined other universe Archer whispering behind him. Also look closely at the dark shadowy love scene with Hoshi. I think they slipped one by with that. I don't think she was wearing anything chest wise! A great episode.
-
Forgive my ignorance but was a missing Defiant ever mentioned in TOS? What am I missing here?
-
Manny Coto. Just got around to see his Odyssey 5 show, WOW that was great! Too bad it got canned in it's first season. Give this guy another show NOW! (Note, looks like he is going to go the "24")
-
that noticed giant plot holes and major editing problems? Anyone else paying attention?
-
You said you felt the episode lacked continuity, specifically referencing T'Pol changing outfits. T'Pols outfit changed when she was thrown off the Defiant and put on the other ship of aliens. She was put back on a Terran ship and had to wear the correct uniform. I didn't notice any real problems with continuity.

I wentback and looked at the episode. Man, there were editing problems galore. I usually watch on tape late at night, so the firt time I watched, I figured I must have nodded off and missed something. Naah, just some bad editing. Try following the whole non-Terran conspiracy --- It's impossible. Looks like this was going to be another three-parter but they trimmed it to fit the "Final 4" promos. Too bad.
