Learn When YourFavorite Show Ends!!All Your Finale Are Belong To Us!!

I am – Hercules!!

Here’s a weird trend. Lots of people emailing me asking for finale dates. At first I thought they mocked Mighty Herc, because a recent TV Guide had the words “Hot Finales” on its cover, and a load of dates inside. But I guess people don’t read TV Guide the way they used to.

When I asked one of these emailers, "Why the finale-date craving?" this response followed: “We’re thinking about having a party. We come to you because, y’know, Buffy Bash.”

Well, okay then! Here’s the rundown!

    where's the Smallville love?

    by iamnicksaicnsn

It deserves to be highlighted as well. Tonight was great fun, good episode. Can't wait for Lost to come back though, and very sad that South Park is already over for this block. Wednesday is a great night for TV.

    no smallville love this season

    by lostbat

Once upon a time I was a Smallville-fan. But this season is an insult for the complete fan base. No character-development. Boring new faces. Boring old faces. (Jason und Lana should have stayed in Paris and live long and happy together, never to disturb anyone of us again.......) And above all, a very disappointing arc. Warner Bros refresh your script-team!! Another bad season would be like kryptonite for the Box-office result of a certain upcoming movie

    Smallville is crap

    by AeroB

I really dug the first three seasons but it has gone to shit this one. The characters are so messed up it's not even funny... Lex, once the best part of the show, is now boring. Most every episode this season has been so filled with holes or outrageously stupid plot points that it's basically not even worth watching. I only stick around for Allison Mack as Chloe, but even she's getting shit all over by a return to that chemistryless Lana crap which should have been left alone after it died in the second season.

  • April 28, 2005, 1:39 p.m. CST

    Hey, Smallville ain't that bad...

    by InBloom

I think this season has had a few great episodes, and admittedly some medicore ones too. Krypto was my least fave ep, but I thought Transference was fantastic, and really proved that Tom Welling CAN act, Devoted was good, although it was painful to watch Chloe embarrass herself that much (notice that by the next episode she'd changed her haircut and lost weight - poor girl); Spell was amusing and slightly corny, but to me Smallville has always been slightly tongue in cheek. I guess Season 4 hasn't been as good as 3, which was the best yet in my opinion, but it's still keeping me interested. I like the whole fact that Chloe knows about Clark, and that Lionel became (for a time at least) a reformed man. I do agree though that any ttension between Clark and Lana should be disappearing now that Lois is in the series. I wonder how long they'll carry the show on for? It would be good if it morphed into a genuine Superman show, showing what happens after Clark leaves Smallville, and they could probably get away with one more season (after 5) showing Clark's college days, but it is getting very difficult to believe that Welling is 17! But I don't want them to just cancel the show, so a spinoff would be great - they could even call it "metropolis" - and we could see some more of the evil Lex we saw in Onyx!!

What the hell is up with The Shield? My guess is it won't be over in May. They do what? 13-14 episodes. They still have at least 6 or 7 left. I can't wait for David "please stick it up my" Aceveda gets his commupance.

    LOSTBAT...

    by SuperBurgerBat

do you seriously think that smallville being shitty is going to have any effect on the box office of that certain upcoming movie? if I've said it once, I've said it one thousand times...no one but little teenage girls watch that show, and the rest of the world (or at least those that respect the comic book mythology) know that this show was, is, and always will be worthless drivel...and from one bat to another do yourself a favor and stop watching smallville, before you look too gay...too late

    by Jack Burton

This season is the best yet (Glenn Close will earn her Emmy) yet Herc constantly ignores it. Oh f'ing well. Shield should end last week of May if my math is right.

    South Park - Already over

    by readyoufool

butt fuckers. 8 goddamn episodes and they're on hiatus...what a load of crap. and don't give me that "oh, it's really difficult to make the show" bullshit. They've been doing it for 9 seasons. if they haven't figured out a more streamlined approach at this point then they shouldn't be making it any longer.

  • April 29, 2005, 2:27 a.m. CST

    Bah

    by UCFKevin

It takes Trey and Matt mere days, maybe less, to make an episode of South Park. Why do you think some episodes are so time sensitive? When Saddam was captured, two days later they made a South Park episode about it. It's well known that sometimes they wait until Monday or Tuesday to actually make the show, to the point where Comedy Central has no clue what the hell the episode is about until Wednesdaym, hence why there's often no description of the episode on TV Guide and TiVo and such. But hey, if they wanna take a hiatus, let them. At least they're stil doing the show. They probably just get bored and don't want to get pigeonholed and make shitty episodes. So be it.

    The Shield...

    by Wungolioth

Just started watching it with all the Glenn Close hype, but the one that's really impressed me is Anthony Anderson. You have to give this man his props for transforming himself from the fat comic-relief guy to fucking scary as Hell crimeboss. I say give the Emmy to him! I will definitely be catching up on the previous seasons over the summer.

  • Would that actually make him turn invisible?

  • April 29, 2005, 2:39 p.m. CST

    The Shield?

    by fiester

Seriously: what's with the constant disregard of the best fucking show on TV on AICN? You hear more about Chikky as The Thing on here than you do about him as the only other character who rivals Tony Soprano for sheer badassness: Vic Mackey!
