SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

Is it titled “Kill Gil”?? Don’t be stupid!

Hello,

At CSIFiles.com, we've just posted the first plot information
on 'Grave Danger,' the upcoming fifth-season 'CSI' finale
directed by Quentin Tarantino:

http://www.csifiles.com/news/210405_01.shtml

In the episode, main character Nick Stokes is kidnapped by
someone with an apparent grudge against the CSIs. By the time
he wakes up again, he's trapped in a coffin, together with his
loaded handgun and a tape recorder with a message telling him
it's probably best to kill himself, as he's going to die anyway.
There's also a webcam in the coffin, which transmits an image
back to the CSI lab, allowing his colleagues to see him slowly
suffocate - but not providing any clues as to his whereabouts.

'Grave Danger' was written by CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn,
CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, and executive producer Naren
Shankar, based on a story by Quentin Tarantino. The episode
is scheduled to air on Wednesday the 19th of May. More plot
information can be found at the following URL:

    Tarantino is overrated!

    by derlanghaarige

Really, except Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill he didn't made any really great films. He's okay, but not the great genius most of you think he is! But I really like how he always looks for things he wants to do and then he's just doing them. And when he takes on a show like CSI, it could be interesting!

I might just watch it, even though I'm not a CSI fan. The observant TV viewer will note that a similar plotline was seen on Alias. (Sydney, buried alive in a coffin, with maddeningly tenuous communication with her friends and colleagues. Presumably, Marshall will not rescue Nick this time.)

    by derlanghaarige

A picture of its poster is in the lexicon next to "overrated". And Jackie Brown was one of the most boring films ever made. His Four Rooms Episode ruined everything Robert Rodriguez' episode has built up! Reservoir Dogs is really brilliant! And Kill Bill 1 is maybe the best fun flick ever made, while Kill Bill 2 is still good enough to call it "a great picture". This is my point.

I thought "Pulp Fiction" was Tarantino's best, actually. It's cool if people think the film's overrated, but that was the film that put Quentin on the map. "Reservoir Dogs" got his foot in the door, but "Pulp Fiction" is his earnings and critical acclaim masterpiece. I've enjoyed all Quentin's films, as I think he brings a creative, R-rated sensibility to all his material. Obviously, I hate the PG-13 rating, so I'm going to say this, but I'm happy Quentin has never compromised his work for the sake of a teenage audience. Unlike other directors... ahem. I wish Quentin the best on his CSI episode, and I'll be watching it, even though I haven't watched one episode of that weakass show in two years. Maybe he'll change my mind.

  • And did anyone see Survivor? Was it just me or did Probst talk Janu into quitting? All his questions seemed designed to push her into quitting before the vote. And what was the point of abandoning someone for one night? I thought at least that person would be away during tribal council and be safe from the vote, but no, the vote came the next night. This has been the strangest season. They do things like this that seem to have no other purpose than to be used as promos for next week ("you won't believe what happens next" sort of thing). Like those two contestants who were never in the game - they didn't get voted out, they just didn't get picked. I thought, maybe, they might bring them back as a kind of outcast tribe. As far as I can see, the only reason for them was to promote the show by saying "you won't believe what happens in the first 10 minutes". Yeah, that's because it was so stupid it was beyond belief.

Guess what guys? It's going to rock. Tarantino actually works pretty well with restrictions and this show is just meant for his style. If you saw his ER episode, there were so many amazing touches that nothing that mediocrity did before or since came even close.

    by raylangivens

...is after Greg saves Stokes in a nick of time, will Grissom ask him, "What's a spork?" And for all the discussion about QT ripping himself off or ALIAS beating them to the punch, it is truly more incestuous than we first realized. QT the actor is a part of the ALIAS family, having starred several times as McKenas Cole.

Q-U-I-T now while people still remember Reservoir Dogs. KB 1&2 are 'great' because we hadn't seen anything like it before? O-keedokee, disagree; but there are many things I've never wanted to see. Ride off into the sunset QT, go buy yourself a chain of videostores where you can hang out and talk movies all day. It's obvious you love movies, but you're running out of steam, except for the steam that rose blissfully from the collective Turdery that was KB 1 and 2.

There are just people who are home and bored and CSI or some rerun of Law & Order just happens to be on. I have been known to watch more than a few episodes of both shows and both show's spin-offs. Thus, there are only CSI watchers... no fans.

    Tarantino.....

    by mattcg

I'd love it if he would stop doing this shit and stick to movies. He defines the whole 'Director as Star' motif and he needs to concentrate on making movies that are not two steps back. ("Kill Bill" they were fun, but let's face it he can do better.) He seems to be afraid of maturing, like so many other fanboy directorial favorites like Kevin Smith. Long story short: He needs to stop wasting my time. Robert Rodriguez puts him to shame. That guy is making leaps and bounds toward something truly great, ("Sin City" was good, but not great.) and constantly pushing forward with new technologies and effort. The guy is like a low-budget James Cameron with a work ethic. I look forward to his work, however uneven it may be, a little bit more than Tarantino these days because at least I know Rodriguez will offer up something new and different and Tarantino will give me more of the same.

    Tarantino should direct...

    by napoleon park

Tarantino should direct... Lost: forty survivors go down the hatch, ten come out alive. (Not you, Jack).
Tarantino should direct... "Desperate Housewives: Zach and Andrew's Rampage". Tarantino should direct... "Law and Order: Trial By Jury". Could Bebe Neuwirth's character possibly be a bigger bitch? Give her a sharp sword and PMS and find out! Tarantino should direct... "Medium" (No, wait, M. Night Shayamalan should direct Medium.) Tarantino should direct... "Robot chicken" Just ten minutes and thirty five seconds of someone destroying Seth Green's action figure collection with a sledgehemmer. Tarantino should direct... "Stacked" (No, Kevin Smith should direct Stacked.) Tarantino should direct... "Less Than perfect" (No, Russ Meyer... no wait, he's dead, that won;t work, sorry.) Tarantino should direct... The "Third Watch" series finale, because at least one show coming to an end should finish with a massacre and everyone dying. Tarantino should direct... "Joey" because at least one series should have an episode with a massacre and everyone dying, just to see what they do the next episode. Tarantino should direct... an episode of Saturday Night Live and kill off Donatella Versace and Rick!Rick!Rick! Tarantino should direct... "Boston Legal" because, really how else could Denny Crane get any more awesome than he already is? Tarantino should direct... (Sorry, I don't have a boffo ending for this.) I dunno, how about a Wonderfalls movie where a toy cow tells Jaye Tyler to "kill the mall" and she misunderstands and "kills them all"??

My favorite "buried alive" scene is in Blood Simple (SPOILER).

    by osmosis jones

When a barely-alive Dan Hedaya starts getting covered with dirt while still trying desperately to scream...that scene *still* wigs me out. Kill Bill Vol. 2 has the second-best premature burial sequence. When the coffin lid gets nailed down, and the screen goes black, and all the audience can hear is Uma's panicky breathing and the deafening thuds of the dirt falling on the lid...makes me sweat every single time.

Joss Whedon is an overrated hack...

    by triumph poops!

...who isn't even worthy of wiping Tarantino's ass after he gets utterly and completely drunk on the town and shits out his worst idea on the spot in a moment of spraying diarrea. That's how far below Taratino you can rank Whedon. The notion of even comparing the two --and deciding Whedon is the more talented -- is the best laugh I've had all day. Thanks, Tonay, for reminding me about how totally clueless and over the top insane some fans can be out there.
