About Jake Lloyd in Episode One

We've been having a lot of people slamming Jake Lloyd, fretting about Jake Lloyd and all around saying he's the iceberg to sink the Star Wars Ship. Well during my visit over there, I had the opportunity to discuss the 'Jake Lloyd' problem with several in the know types and the said that they are far more concerned over the character of JAR JAR and his 'annoying dialogue'. Of course, the dialogue is most likely to be 'voiced' by someone who wasn't on set, and the dialogue may come completely to life in the post production process. But all in all, I believe we ought to relax, I have faith again in this, and I'm soooooo happy to be able to say that again. There's a sort of gallow's shadow that hangs over ya when you contemplate the concept of Episode One sucking like a lung wound. Here's the Jake Lloyd report...

I would like to add something to the rumors regarding someone knows someone at ILM whos seen the rough cut etc...

First of all I was an extra in the Prequel (still am actually) and since I'm not really supposed to say what I saw, I'll just say the Jake Lloyd is a sweet kid who doesnt think he's 'Mr Wonderfull', in fact he is just a generous honest all american kid, in the blazing english sunshine of last week, he helped fetch us extras water, helps the props people give out weapons to extras, and will get you something if you ask for it. He's really too young to realise just how big a star he is and what Episode 1 will do for his future career, so in all truthfulness he's just any ordinary kid that hangs out with grown ups. His portrayal of Anakin is specifically how he was directed and Lucas told him to be a bit whiny and stubborn during his dialogue.

Hope that resolves a few points.
