One of the most awesome sequences in my film memory is the mothership from Close Encounters, it's still an absolutely brilliant sequence...stunning..mind numbing. Do you ever wonder..."Man, I wonder where that big ship is?" Me too, and it's at the Smithsonian, though not on display. Apparently it's in the restoration/top secret labortory where the aliens are. This is just for us geeks to drool at... Oh, and can we please have a great top of the line super duper with documentaries and supplemental sections super DVD release on this title... sorry had to say that... Here ya go...

Please find attached two photos of the Mother Ship from the film "Close
Encounters Of The Third Kind". Life and limb where sacrificed so that
the truth could be told. It is currently being held captive at a secret
government storage facility by the name of The Garber Facility.
