Election night is fun!
Not only does “Estrogenius Tuesday” remain wholly intact - fresh episodes of “Gilmore Girls” and “Veronica Mars” are airing in different time zones as I type – but Comedy Central’s brilliant and ever-more-powerful “Daily Show” airs live tonight in all zones at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Neato!
The only other thing I think I’d like to point out is “The Al Franken Show,” which is cablecast 11:30 p.m./8:30 p.m. nightly for those lucky enough to have access to The Sundance Channel. Franken, who for decades wrote or co-wrote many an amazing political sketch for “Saturday Night Live,” continues to slap together some of the wittiest, most pointed satire on the planet. I’d watch him even if he was backing Bush!
“Gilmore Girls”: 8 p.m. Election Day. WB.
“Veronica Mars”: 9 p.m. Election Day. UPN.
“The Daily Show”: 10 p.m. Election Day. CC.
