New Japanese Horror Coming Soon! KANSEN & YOGEN!!!

Published at:  Aug 08, 2004 8:38:02 PM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here... while the trailers don't look particularly great, there is a chance that it's just a weird trailer for two stories that feel odd when put together in a trailer like this... That being said, there's definitely some creepy looking stuff going on in this. Enjoy...

Hi Harry,

I've just downloaded and seen the teaser for new series of Japanese horror movies produced by Taka Ichise (the producer of both original "Ring" and "Ju-on" series). The series is called J-Horror Theater and the part 1, opens Oct. 2nd in Japan, contains two different stories by two different directors. They are "Kansen" directed by Masayuki Ochiai ("Parasite Eve") and "Yogen"directed by Norio Tsuruta ("Ring 0: Birthday"). I cannot wait to see them.

Have a nice weekend,

Jin

Trust me, Kansen and Yogen Meet Frankenstein is much funnier.

    going down swinging

    by jackburtonlives

the little girl's gift was to imprint images into your brain... images strong enough and horrible enough to kill you. so in fact no one actually came out of the tv and going down swinging wouldn't help you. the 'drama' we see is actually going on in his mind.

That was as scary as a fart in a space suit

    by trik

    No, IamNumberOne, you're not alone...

    by triumph poops!

Personally, I thought the Ring (original and remake) were snoozefests. Like you ***SPOILER*** I just don't see "what" is the slightest bit scary about a little girl who crawls out of TV. Wow! The horrific image of that! It scares me to even type it! (rolling my eyes) Man, talk about as UNfrightful an image as you can come up with. Whacky, yes. But frightful? Sorry, no -- least not to me. Even if she does have stringy hair and bad hygene. Ok, if she had really, really, really, really, REALLY bad breath that might be scary...

    japanese whorror

    by nolan bautista

but anyway..so let me get this clear..err.. hmmm..so is it really sideways? you know..hmm..how can i say this w/out offending anyone..let's see..ok..ok..again,are jap twats really sideways?..something i was always curious about..also will they use CGI or ILM to make them look normal if they ever show these slanted yellow beavers on screen?..not in "the yellow beaver shot first" kind of way..but in a way that would not mess w/ the original..you know,tasteful..preserving the beauty and magic of juicy oriental pussy

    Silent Hill...

    by neosamurai85

Three topics of conversation... 1: what films/books will the next Silent Hill draw from? (Do they have the balls to take anything from the book of the same name... THE ROOM?) 2: There is a Silent Hill Movie being made... why is there no mad Bubba/Shuan reporting about this? 3: How long does everyone think it will take nolan bautista to get deleted/banned? Peace.

    On The Ring

    by neosamurai85

On the remake I think that there were few things it did better but a lot of things it did worse. Most of it

    banned you say?

    by nolan bautista

calm yourself neo..what are you?..some kind of a jap lover? (i know i am)..it was a legit topic..concerning,among other things, the magic of CGI and Lucasfilms' ILM and the alluring possibility of slanted slits..(you do realise the potential of tilted twats)

    by super cucaracha

It's the same fucking shit over and over. Those motherfuckers have some sick fetish with little girls. And Bravo harry! your record of "Asian Horror Cinema Rules" kind of thinking is still alive bro.

I never cared much for RINGU

    by beamish13

and I've never seen the American remake. It's just very slow and not too scary. At first it's a bit atmospheric and moody, but it really doesn't amount to much
