Trailer for 3 MONSTER hits including a look at Chan Wook Park's Latest! WOW!

Hey folks, Harry here... The South Korean filmmaking genius, Chan Wook Park, whose OLDBOY recently won the Grand Prix at this year's Cannes Film Festival is next contributing his astonishing talents to an anthology film that includes his work from Korea, Takashi Miike's brand of genius from Japan... and from Honk Kong, Fruit Chan, whom I don't know much about, but in this company... I find him incredibly intriguing. The trailer you'll see is apparently made of mostly Park's sequence... and it looks utterly brutal, emotion and torturous... like some crazed torment left locked away in the mind of Edgar Allan Poe only just now given life.

Props go out to TheMovieBlog for coming across this trailer and the poster first!

    the three segments

    by alicegator

wow..the site was amazing. The three segments are named Hatred (Park Chan Wook's sequence), Jealousy, and Greed. The main character (he's called "The Movie Director") has to ultimately choose who will live or die in 5 seconds. This should be really good. I am a huge fan of Park Chan Wook, but I think that the normal American moviegoer will be turned off by his use of violence (I'm not). But he uses violence to say some very interesting things about human nature. The actor who plays the terrorist is an amazing actor (Im Won Hee) and he plays characters who are teetering on the edge of madness extremely well. He was a standout in SILMIDO.

    by Battousai

    Cast in this trailer

    by Stik

I am not familiar with the "Director" character, but the father or husband role is played by the lead actor from JSA (who is BIG in Korea) and the female lead actress is the same from OLDBOY (discovered by Park). This trailer is pretty gruesome -- along the lines of ISLE and AUDITION (maybe worse).
