If I'm THAT hard up to see Halle I'll go rent Swordfish and pause on her nipples. That one boring shot will probably be better than the whole Catmovie. Please people, even paying money to go see this as a joke is still giving the signal to make more and more crap.Don't ever pay to see this unless you love the direction Superman is going, think Keanu Reeves is the PERFECT Constantine, and can't wait for the next Punisher movie.

Is it just me or does everything in this trailer looks like the cancelled show "birds of prey" ? From the animated town to the "love-story" between catwoman and the police-captain. Now i know why the show was cancelled ...

Are you insane? or Blind? or gay? or all of the above? Not that I'll waste my money with this movie, but I sure as hell shall download every pic of her in the catsuit I can. And Natalie Porter wasn't 14 in Episode 1, she only looked 14, which in my book is pretty cool. But I agree with you on Trinity, vis-a-vis love

  • Unpaid Endorsement Follows. HBO's original content, better than most stuff in theaters, gets my subscription ducats, and then there's the can't-believe-I'm-seeing-this crap like "Catwoman" for those rained-out afternoons and midnight-movie channel-surf sessions, when it's already done paid for. ...I can't say this enough, but Berry's "1st Black Best Actress Oscar Winner Moment" should have belonged to Pam Grier for Jackie Brown, 5 or 6 years earlier. Say what you want about Grier's career before or since, but she earned it that year and would have displayed a hell of a lot more class in the roles that that clout would have gotten her. Instead we get Jinx and Catwoman and prom queen histrionics. Berry's very pretty, to be sure, but her talent peaked somewhere between "B.A.P.S" and "Bullworth".

Six Feet Under - hands down the best hourlong show on coax. Deadwood - amazing first season. Had a couple of momentary lulls finding its footing, but on the whole, wow. And the writers/producers had the testicular fortitude to burn off three of their most interesting characters. Definitely not the kind of decision that would have been sanctioned by any of the Big 4. -- You're going to kill off Wild Bill and Calamity Jane's just gonna get drunk and pissed and abandon the camp? Are you nuts? -- Yeah, they're nuts all right. They got nuts enough to believe in the strength of the other characters and the stories they have yet to tell. And the negotiation between Swearengen and the Chinese butcher/dope smuggler was classic. "One COCKSUCKER!"

    by salvatoregravano

He defended his other deformed foetus, "The Core", so why not repeat the same with "Catwoman", which apparently makes "The Bore" look like an almost acceptable movie? Why won't John Rogers (X) lash madly at Harry, Moriarty and the readers for refusing to love "Catwoman"? Why doesn't John Rogers (X) cry that he had to get rid of flying dog monsters that the executives wanted Catwoman to fight? Why can't John Rogers (X) explain that Catwoman's costume is historically accurate, because he based it on old covert research done by GRU at Andropov's personal orders? Why doesn't John Rogers (X) defend the kittyish behavior of Patience Whatshername as "scientifically accurate" and conclude his defence of the flick by detailed description of the talkbackers' alleged habit of masturbating to Halle Berry's pictures? Come on, John Rogers (X), protect your baby!

    And regarding Mortal Kombat III...

    by salvatoregravano

While I'd have absolutely no interest in watching it were it not for the fact that right now it has Moriarty's script (of all the supposed MK franchise, I only remember the first game itself, and then some painful memories of trying to actually watch Paul W. S. Andershit's empty, noisy, headache-causing "adaptation" on TV a few years ago), I need to point out that if Mortal Kombat III the movie is actually made, and turns out to be, as I suspect, a pile of crap, it will not necessarily mean that M's script was, as his attackers claim above, bad. In fact, it will probably mean that the script was good, but everything else in the project wasn't. (Which, of course, will not prevent you, said M. attackers, from lashing out on him, right?) Wasn't the final script for "Battlefield Earth" described and reviewed as excellent, after all? And see how THAT turned out... and I don't think only Travolta is to blame.

at least its not making itself out to be some f**king hype vehicle. which is all that S2 is. a hype vehicle with a lame ass plot, script and terrible choice for MJ. the scenes look somewhat decent (the action ones). at least there will be cool acrobatics. and Halle Berry can Out-Act any mothaf**ker in Spiderman 2, so her onscreen presence wont be too bad.

    "Catwoman" IMAX Release Dropped!

Just saw that Warners is dropping the planned IMAX release that was supposed to open day-and-date with conventional theaters. The excuse given is that some effects are not ready, but they have to know what a bomb they have-time to cut losses, perhaps? "Spiderman 2" will be the next IMAX release instead!

Admittedly I hated the first image of that catsuit (open toed sandals! bah), then the news that it wasnt selina kyle (well at least nolan could possibly still use the real catwomen in his reinvention), then the really bad teaser trailers. But Ill be dambed if this new trailer now that the action scenes and special effects have been added didnt get me a little jazzed to see just what Pitof may have come up with. What was once a really bad feeling is actully starting to turn into giddy camp joy. So you all be bitter and whine and cry, Im going to see catwoman.

Now you rip on this one when it eally looks 10 times better than Van Helsing did. Perhaps you are all having homo erotic thoughts about Jackman and cannot stand a strong beautiful female lead like Halle? One other note, I do think that George the Chicken and Harry Knowles are one and the same.

...do people insist on defending the indefensible? I was trying to keep an open mind about this film (honest) until this trailer. I'm damned easy to please, but this honestly smelled cheesier than Harry's shirtfront after cheeseburger night! The acting looked poor, the CGI looked poor, and the story had nowhere to go - a bunch of cliched cat-stuff thrown together. Now sure, defend the concept of seeing a movie before you judge it, I'm open to that argument, but for God's sake people - pick your battles!

Yesterday I saw Spider-Man 2 and all-in-all a great movie. But, as with all things, one must take the bad with good. The bad here being made to watch the Cat(Crap)woman trailer. I couldn't help but feel like HB's gynecologist with all the gratuitous up the crotch shots it had. It felt like porn. And not in a good way! Thats my two-cents.

What about the X-Men films and Die Another Day? No vulnerability there. She was a 'strong independant woman out to kick ass', as a movie producer might say. Leaving aside that she drags the X-Men films down with her presence and that Die Another Day was a travesty of a Bond film, those performances don't seem to fit your pattern.

I agree with you 100%. I am a black woman and Halle Berry is nothing more than an EMBARRASSMENT to Black Women, herself and our race. She does play the PITY CARD too much. And before she made the PORN FLICK Monster's Ball -- did you ever hear anything about ERic Benet cheating??? She cheated first by filming a ridiculous SEX SCENE. No wonder he cheated in return -- what is good for the gander is good for the gouse. I would have divorced my spouse too -- if he made a film like Monsters' Ball. Acting, movie or what not -- that is not something you do when you are married. If you want to be an ONSCREEN WHORE -- then get a divorce first. Sorry to sound old-fashioned, but a whore is a whore is a whore, whether you stand under a street light and whore, or whether you are paid to have sex on screen naked. The end result is the same -- WHORE. I pray to GOD that her career ends up like Cuba Gooding and that her career dries up soon. Black women already have too many MUSIC VIDEOS THAT MAKE US LOOK SLUTTY. WE DON'T NEED HALLE BERRY WHORING HERSELF FOR MONEY & OSCARS, AS WELL.
