NOW AND AGAIN

Published at:  May 17, 2004 2:12:56 AM CDT

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

NBC announces its autumn slate Monday. While many long expected the cancellation of “Whoopi” to be the most exciting news to emerge from the peacock’s New York “upfront,” a new wrinkle seems to be emerging.

The great Glenn Gordon Caron only created two series, but both were truly wonderful: “Moonlighting” and “Now and Again.”

The Hollywood Reporter reports Monday morning that NBC is to place an 6-episode midseason order for what could be Caron’s third series, “Medium,” starring Patricia Arquette as a hot clairvoyant.

    First!

NOW AND AGAIN was the PERFECT TV show. Being that SWAT lasted only one season and became a $100 mil. grossing box office hit, why can't producers do the same for NOW AND AGAIN? That would be a FANTASTIC movie.

    Oh yeah....

Now and Again... I completely forgot about that show... not that I ever watched it... but I haven't heard anyone mention it in a long time.... unless I actually have, and my mind just registered it as Once and Again. I could never remember which one was which... and the fact that they both started the same season didn't help.

    Patricia Arquette

This might be good news if it weren't for the fact that I can't stand Patricia Arquette. Now if it starred her sister that would be different. Roseanne is the only Arquette I can stomach. David's a complete and total jerk except that he's married to Courtney Cox so he did do something right. Actually, their grandfather is Charley Weaver from the vintage Hollywood Squares and I have nothing against him but I seem to be blindly ranting since I can't sleep at 5:30 in the morning

"Now & Again" is occasionally re-run on Sci-Fi's daylong maratho

Try to catch an episode or 5. That show is as good as I remembered and better than we deserved, I guess. Patricia Arquette rates a "meh" in my book but Caron's quality track record piques my interest.
