Quint watches Season 3 Premiere of DINNER FOR FIVE!
Ahoy, squirts. Quint here with a heads up and a little peak into the premiere episode for season 3 of Jon Favreau's awesome DINNER FOR FIVE, on IFC.
They kick off the new season with a fuckin' hilarious episode. The guests this episode are Faizon Love, Dennis Farina, Gina Gershon and Ron Livingston. Faizon steals the show, but I won't give away too many of his precious moments!
The conversation goes from Gina Gershon talking about surviving SHOWGIRLS and the process of shooting that, Dennis Farina talking about working as a cop in Chicago (if I remember correctly), Livingston talks about meeting real WW2 vets in association with his work on BAND OF BROTHERS and Love talks about TORQUE... Which is easily my favorite part of the show. He rails on that experience and on the director, saying these video directors can't direct. "All they know is Bentleys, Ass, Cut. Bentleys, Ass, Cut." His impression of Ice Cube brought me to tears, it's so funny... the clear disdain in his voice for that movie... Classic!
It's a good one and it airs this Friday on IFC. Check your local listings! Which of these guests utters the words, "Michael Jackson fucks kids in the ass"? You'll have to tune in to see!

This is one of those idiots who believes that all cultures in the world are black originally. The idiot shot himself in the foot in this episode when he argued that blacks occupied all of the world originally throughout history and that slaves weren't shipped around the world... they were already there. His point to prove his theory was that no one would want to go to China. But if blacks were at the roots of Chinese culture, then why would you diss a culture that is supposedly yours in the first place.
