Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

I want this to be good. I really do. I thought the script was great when I read and reviewed it on July 12 of 2002. As with any big-budget effects-filled film these days, I’ve heard all sorts of wild stories during principal photography and during post-production, and you always take some of them with a grain of salt. As I said... I want this to be great. I want to see that script I read brought to life. I want to be blown away by this one when it’s released.

Maybe that’s why the new trailer makes me nervous. I’m not sure what I’m looking at right now, and this trailer combined with the rumors I’m hearing makes me cross my fingers and wish even harder. Please let this be great... please let this be great...

Well, here's the 2nd Peter Pan trailer, in Quicktime! I'm still wondering why Universal and Revolution haven't been pushing this film months in advance. With what it's budgeted at, you'd think they'd be ready for the Christmas season. Aside from Return of the King, this is the only other December film that I'm dying to see (and it's getting harder and harder for studios to get me to want to see their films).

So... you tell me. Whattaya think of the new trailer? Does it look like they’ve captured the magic of J.M. Barrie’s creation in something that will hopefully endure as a definitive version? Or are you getting that ol’ familiar HOOK smell off this one? Either way, December can’t get here soon enough for me.
