Ravvy spots Otto Octavius' headquarters in SPIDER-MAN 2

Published at:  Jun 18, 2003 1:07:46 AM CDT

Hey folks, Harry here... There's just something cool about seeing signs for Otto Octavius Incorporated. That's just cool. Now... Where the heck is a pic of Alfred Molina as the man himself? C'mon folks, search far and wide. We all wanna see!

Hey Harry and Mori,

I dunno if this is new at all, but it was new to me when I stumbled over it earlier today. I noticed while checking out this site NewFilmmakers.Com looking over information for an awesome Hubert Selby Jr. reading and documentary showing (in Los Angeles happening Wed. June 18th), that they had a link labeled "Spider-Man 2 at Anthology Film Archives" Click here for Octavious with some great photos of "Otto Octavius Incorporated"'s sign and some dummies. :) Also the site has information on a Michael Madsen reading of his poetry books? :) Well back to New Zealand fun.

In it, there was a warehouse, and on the side it said "Otto Octavius Inc.", just like in this picture, and it made candy bars. Some kids win a chance to go inside the magical factory, but it turns out they just get fed to the giant Kraken that squirts chocolate ink. So, clearly, the warehouse is a direct steal.

    by glynyfaron

Possibly the Potter post was pulled as the reviewer clearly had not read the book and Bloomsbury probably leaned on the fatboy until he squealed like a pig and had it taken down. I trust they hurt him most grievously.

There's a big difference in my mind between getting spy reports on bits and pieces of something and blatantly stealing a product, which is what that Harry Potter reviewer did when he/she got a hold of that book and what people did when they downloaded the Hulk.

If you're not just lying to stir people up, I sincerely hope that you get a karmic bite on the ass such as a nasty car wreck or some debilitating illness, because you clearly take joy in crapping on other people. And hell, even if you are lying to stir people up, then you're still a waste of skin. You had no right to post that spoiler blatantly in a talk-back about Spider Man. What a sad existence you must have . . .

HERMIONE DOES NOT DIE IN BOOK 5

    by ye not guilty

I haven't read the book myself yet, but I have confirmed that Hermione survives OotP with a friend of mine who works at a bookstore and who has already read it. I don't know who dies, but it isn't Hermione. I suspect Mrs. Weasly, myself, but I can't rule out Hagrid either.

    What Happened to Doc Ock?

    by septimus_p

jeez, this used to be a spidey talkback! Ok, well let me point out that most bookstores have had their shipments of the new Potter for almost a week now. It's just supposed to remain in their backrooms until 12:01 am saturday. As a result, it's more than possible to have read the new Potter cover-to-cover already WITHOUT having stolen if off a freakin' truck somewhere. My sister works for Barnes & Noble, and she (along with half the staff) read "Order of the Phoenix" over a couple of successive lunch hours through the week. So it's NOT just J.K. and publishing execs who know the story. Bookstore clerks across the U.S. (and probably the world) have already read the thing. It's just the general public (which includes me!) that have to wait until saturday and the official "on sale" date.

    by robinp

I think back fondly to the days before spoilers. Simpler times, when a season of your favorite tv series would mean something like 26 weeks of surprises. New films would reach the screen...fresh. New books would be a facinating journey of the imagination.

    DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!!!!!!!!

    by playkins

Thank you to whoever the hell you are for ruining the surprise in the new Potter book. I'm really glad there are people like you out there who take joy in shitting on things for other people. I'm quite sure you're sitting back laughing right now at how clever you are. That really took some brainpower, didn't it? And the funny thing is that even if who you said doesn't die, you've ruined the fun and suspense of reading it without a preconceived idea of what's going to happen. I've been purposely avoiding anything that said "Potter" for two months because of idiots like you. Two days to go and some jerk blows it. Yes, i'm pissed. Laugh all you want, I don't give a shit. Fucking moron. I'M CALLING FOR EVERYONE RIGHT NOW FOR MOVIE LOVERS TO BAN AICN AND SPOILER-RIDDEN WEBSITES. LET'S START JUST ENJOYING MOVIES, BOOKS AND TELEVISION SHOWS AGAIN WITHOUT SOMEONE ALWAYS SPOILING THE PAYOFF. I'm serious, I won't be back, PERIOD. I'm encouraging the rest of you to do the same. Harry should have the decency and RESPECT to fans to moderate and delete off-topic, spoilerific BS. >
