Sweeps Day 27!! The BUFFY Series Finale!!

Perhaps at the bash tonight I’ll discuss the eerie and pitiless technical irony that prevented me from seeing the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” series finale ahead of time. Now I’ll be as weepy and wretched as the rest of you come 9 p.m.

A hint of things to come:

Hey Herc,

I've read your stuff for quite a long time, and have been a Buffy fan for even longer. Just wanted to give you advance warning of the imminent five star rating you're going to have to give "Chosen". My local television station plays the episodes a day early, so the show's over for me now. The sadness of the end of such an obsession is only overshadowed by the brilliance of the finale and the satisfaction of such a great end. I wish I could be in LA to share it with a large group, but my tiny bunch of Buffy fans up here in Canada will just have to deal with it on our own. Rambling aside, thanks for all the great support you've given the show, and for giving fans a place to go over the years for lots of Buffy related material that may otherwise have been overlooked.

Enjoy the ending that was surely made for us fans, and make sure to doubly thank those in attendance that worked on the show for all their great work.

I am – Hercules!!

Hey, we’re less than a month away from the June 10 street date for the season-four “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” DVD! That’s the one with “Hush” and “Restless”!!

Hey hey, all seven chapters of writer-director (and former Scooby) Amber Benson’s nifty and very animated collaboration with writer Christopher Golden, “Ghosts of Albion,” have been up and running on BBC Online since Thursday! It has spooks! And demons! And the witty dialogue! And Englishers! Just like “Buffy”! And this is your first opportunity to experience the saga in its entirety!
