FREDDY VS. JASON Trailer Hits Online
Hey folks, Harry here... Finally a nice beautiful Quicktime trailer is here with our first look at FREDDY VS. JASON. From the sound of it, this movie will slay us with it's over the top blood and gore and fun, and frankly that's very much what anyone that's been looking forward to seeing FREDDY VS JASON has wanted from the beginning. The trailer will be on some screenings of MATRIX RELOADED, though today when I saw MATRIX RELOADED - it had the trailers for TERMINATOR 3 and THE LAST SAMURAI. Well, here's ch ch ch ch ah ah ah ahhhh 1.... 2.... Freddy's coming for you.... ch ch ch ch ah ah ah ah ah 3.... 4.... Better Lock Your Door... ch ch ch ch ah ah ah ah... hehehehe

I am a freddy fan from way back, and not really much of a Jason fan, but that's fine. Jason X was cute. I always thought this was a bad idea, and I wanted a just straight nightmare film.
This trailer has raised my expectations.. scary imagery, action, this will be good -
I'm picturing half a billion internationally, easily. About 25 bucks of that will be me. ch-ch-ch-ch ah-ah-ah-ah, indeed.

FINALLY! this trailer has images beyond my greatest expectations (and i had LLLLOOOOOOOW expectations dudes and dudettes) I hope this delivers on what the ROCKIN trailer promises.... and DIG that 2.35:1 aspect ratio! and effects work! and the BRILLIANT canadian Katharine Isabelle from "Ginger Snaps"
hope this revives interest in the ElmStreet FILMS! BOOOOYAH!! -

Man, I honestly didn't think the trailer would get me this psyched. I was going to see it anyway...but damn, now I am looking forward to it. The movie could end up being the worst thing since Ishtar II: Blood Harvest, but they did their job in getting one more warm (okay, hot) ass in a seat opening night. You will believe a corpse can fly...

My money is on Jason. Even though in 'reality' Freddy would win. But I think it'll be a better movie if Jason wins.
Not that I'm dying to see this movie.
I'd rather see an Evil Dead 4 but Raimi is too busy and expensive nowadays. -

You guys bitch too much. Yes, I know that there are some very promising projects out there that are still languishing in Development Hell and that some of those will never get the big screen treatment (you guys should check out the book THE GREATEST SCI-FI MOVIES NEVER MADE), I'm just as pissed off as the next guy that Terry Gilliam can't get his Don Quixote movie off the ground and I know that some of you people are probably capable of making a great film because you have untapped blockbuster potential but have yet to make contact with your inner-screenwriter or whatever... but come on, this is FREDDY VS. JASON!!! You need a little junk food for the brain every once in a while.

Didn't they say something early on in production that they were going to film an ending where Jason wins and an ending where Freddy wins and randomly send each to the theaters? Kind of like Clue: The Movie when it was in theaters. On the video now you get all through endings in one movie. In the theaters, the movie had three different endings just for the fuck of it. You could see the movie in one theater, go to another and get a completely different ending. I thought I'd heard they were going to do something similar with Freddy Vs. Jason.

... After a 2 hour knock-down, drag-out monster brawl, both Freddy and Jason are pretty much wasted. Suddenly, we hear a familiar tinkling of piano keys as Michael Myers walks out of a shadowed doorframe behind our dueling nightmares and eviscerates both of them. But wait! Then he pulls off that creepy William Shatner mask and it's not Michael Myers... it's MIKE MYERS!!! As he launches into a goofy dance routine, complete with midgets, girls in Pop Art-print miniskirts and stategically-placed kielbasa sausages, we realize that the whole thing's just another lame promo for another lame "Austin Powers" flick. UHGH!

Yep this trailer has just made me REALLY happy, it could have been so easy to screw this up (Ive read some of the rejected scripts e.g freddy n jason in a boxing ring with Ted Bundy as the commentator I SHIT YOU NOT!) anyway, im just fucking pissed that New Line has decided it wont be released in the UK until Halloween!!! yep thats two months after you yanks get it. Its just not fair. They did it with Jason X too (there was a six month delay, which mean I could import the DVD from the states when it had only just got into theatres over here hehe!) Oh and Freddy would win, but im rooting for Jason.

I thought this was supposed to be Freddy vs. Jason. Not Freddy vs. Jason vs. some other "good guys". If Freddy and Jason team up to kill off these people first and relatively quick in the movie, it will be ok.
Ill still watch it though, im a big fan of gore and violence. -

As a life long fan of Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street, I just pray this movie rocks. I know I've been waiting since Jason Goes to Hell for this, and I just hope and pray this movie delivers on all levels. Please God don't let this be another Jason X.

I've been waiting for this flick forever. Now it's coming and it looks like it'll be pretty damn fun. Hearing Freddy's voice in a movie preview again was pretty cool. I also dug the "Warn your friends. Warn everyone." Looks like it may have some intensity.
BTW, if you have a fast connection and can watch fullscreen, check it out some of the individual montage shots. May be spoilers, I don't know. Also the last scene of someone catapulting from the lake. Doesn't look like who I assumed it would. -

Because to me, this looks like a big steaming cinematic turd. I hated the idea, and the execution looks worse. How any of you can look at this and say it looks great is beyond me. LSD in the water supply at geek central, I guess. Englund needs to find a new job, man.

The next jason vs movie should be a follow up to x. after jason lands on eart2 it is attacked by unicron, and he has to worry about slaying campers as well as defeating a planet sized transformer. In the end he has a confrontation with Sub-zero in unicron's brain and gets the autobot matrix of leadership and becomes optimus jason or jason prime.

Freddy Vs. Jason is going to be a blast. It should be required viewing for anyone who has fond memories of watching 13th and Nightmare movies during their youth. T3 looks like it has serious potential, but I may never be convinced that it should've been made. I'm pulling for LAST SAMURAI to be a hard-core film and not a bastardized product. On a totally unrelated note, I'm beginning to suspect that 28 DAYS LATER is going to be a surprise hit.

How fair can this fight really be? I mean come on, Jason is a retarted kid with the brain the size of a peanut ( as seen is Jason X ). And Freddy is a clever well spoken evil killing machine, and he can kill you in your sleep. But Jason is probaly to stupid to know how to sleep. Freddy will win! I cant wait for this movie!!!!
