UPDATED! An Absolute BadAss Look At Some MATRIX RELOADED Spot!!!

Published at:  Apr 05, 2003 3:07:24 PM CST

Harry here... alright, we got one that wasn't cluttered with a ton of that frickin' Entertainment Tonight Crap... Get it quick, before our traffic causes a server to begin "aicn"...

The Red Pill

It's about 6Mb!

Cheers!

Dan

Hey folks, Harry here with the spot shown on E.T. Hopefully, the official site will have a badass super Quicktime Version of it up soon, but till then... I've got some links to help you guys and gals out. If it doesn't make your mouth drool like Niagra, then its time to pull the cotton out buddy! Just a month away, absolutely CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

ET Tonight showed some never before seen clips of Matrix Reloaded and it’s most likely a TV Spot.

Here are the links to the spot:

And if MPG ain't your thing, try this Windows Media file...

Harry,

Just found this link:

In Windows Media Format!

It has new footage (and old) from The Matrix Reloaded.  Dig the disappearing/reappearing Twin part, baby.

    by dr_zoidberg

You've ruined the rest of my life. Well, at least until Reloaded is in cinemas and I've seen it. BUT GODDAMNIT, I WAS DOING WORK AND NOW I'VE CREAMED MY PANTS AND CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING BUT THE MATRIX AND THAT COOL AS ALMIGHTY FUCK IMAGERY. Seriously though, that was just too cool for words. If the film is even half as good as the trailers are making it look, then it won't disappoint me(although there will be some people that will hate it no matter how good it is).

WB should sign the Wachowskis to do Batman AND Superman. Give them as much money, drugs, and women it takes. Hell, sign over the company to them.

This DOES work - I think. If I right-click and do save as target, it does seem to save something big. Whereas if I just click on the link, it goes on at me in some kind of odd Nordic language. Anyway, we'll know soon enough once I've got it going.

    by ribbons

I don't know if you WERE talking expressly about me, but if so, check again: I'm LOOKING forward to these movies. For Harry to say something's wrong with us because we don't crave it more than our actual lives rings more of "looooser" than pessimism, which I wasn't displaying in the first place. You'd be surprised how many people have gotten on my case on these post because they think that I implied something that I really didn't. And then they call me a moron because I don't recklessly tear into whoever I feel like because it makes me feel good. Jesus Christ. Anyway, if you were just anticipating negativity, I'm sorry, but I felt the need to once again clarify my point of view before things got out of hand. I'm not, by any means, saying anything about the quality of these movies when I say that I'm not drooling. Okay? Have I smoothed things over now?

You're certainly not worse for not seeing The Matrix, but does that mean 'we' are? Or are you referring to people who await the opening of this film like it will give their lives meaning? No, it's certainly not that important, but it's a pretty good movie; you'd probably enjoy it. If you don't want to see it, that's fine, but to not see it for the sake of Not Seeing It, well, at least you have your own little personal victory, I guess, but it seems that your efforts are a little misplaced to me.

I saw this yesterday, not reading or hearing anything about it. Just wandered into the theatre.(why hasnt Harry mentioned it????)

Nick Nolte is just friggin great in it. The ensemble cast is awesome and its Neil Jordan's best film since crying game.

    by shady73

I was sitting at the bar at Red Lobster with my girlfriend. The NCAA tournament was on the t.v., and they played the new commercial. It was awesome. Someone has posted here that they never saw the Matrix? I would think that someone who has no interest in a movie like the Matrix, would have no interest in anything else posted on this site. I still remember reading a review of The Matrix on this site the Friday that it opened; it told me to go see the movie immediately, so I did. That review pretty much gave this site instant credibilty in my mind. I remember watching the movie, and as it got better and better, i remember thinking "oh, man, they can't keep it up like this, just getting better and better....it's gonna start sucking at some point"....but it never did. :)

I have no idea how I got it to work (I couldn't get any of the links to show me the footage either, but then the Windows Media format spot just appeared out of nowhere!), but that kicked ass in ways I never even imagined before! My God, if Reloaded is supposed to be nothing compared to Revolutions, then how mind-blowing is the latter gonna be?! Can't wait! It contained shots of a Nuked City, John Connor standing tall with all his men cheering him on, and a busted ass shot of Arnold with his red eye glowing. Fuck Matrix, Terminator 3 will kick its ass.

Contrary to your limited worldview, many Americans are bilingual and even (like myself) polyglots, who need not throw around not so tres interessant French idioms to impress. If you want to rant about Americans, why don't you start with removing your Pharisaical self from an American website. I'm sure there are plenty of PC, anti-American sites to visit where you can chat about the incisive, highbrow plots of EastEnders, Lindenstrasse and other shows of the same Eurotrash ilk.
