BREAKFAST CLUB 2'' Reunion on DEAD ZONE!!

Published at:  Mar 30, 2003 10:28:27 PM CST

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

Dang! TV Guide Online doesn’t even mention Ally Sheedy is in tonight’s episode!

Besides Sheedy (looking much like her old self) and Anthony Michael Hall, the installment co-stars John “Carl the Janitor” Kapelos and a big chunk of it is set during a reunion in the high school library!

What could Judd Nelson and Emilio Estevez have been so busy with, one wonders!

10 p.m. Sunday. USA. (If you miss it tonight, it repeats 11 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Saturday.)

I am – Hercules!!

"I was the Ally Sheedy in high school..."

    by feudal fetus

Anybody else? I have a theory that every middle class white kid(other races, please consult other John Hughes films)in public school fits into one of the three "Breakfast Club" high school cliques. Most people on this website were probably Anthony Micheal Hall's, but I was the neglected kid who wore black and never spoke except to say something that made everyone think I was insane. And naturally, everyone suspected I'd be the one to pull a Trenchcoat Mafia.

The Criminal, The Basketcase, The Geek, The Princess, The Jock

    by brashhulk

Ah, the memories. Certainly Emilio Estevez' & Judd Nelson's finest moments on screen - and that's saying something. These two Giants Of The Cinema, with their innumerable awards and accolades, could have done what Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, and Ton Hanks did - namely, sell out and make pabulum for the masses. But no. These two brilliant men took the "Orson Welles" approach to celebrity, picking and choosing each and every one of their projects with the care and selectivity that illustrates their sheer genius. It is only now, with the passage of time, that we can see just how monumental these two legends have become. I, for one, cannot wait until they both receive their Honorary Academy Awards, and when that happens, perhaps the Fates will be kind enough to allow it to happen on the same evening. Oh, the sheer rapture of that possibility forces me to stop typing right now, lest my emotions overcome me. And oh yeah, those other three kids did okay too.

    Family Ties?

    by thedevilsbidness

Hey, isn't the guy who played "Sporto" on The Breakfast Club Charlie Sheen's brother? I wonder if Charlie ever gave him Heidi Fleiss' number for a good time? You know, brotherly love and all that.

God, that movie fucking ruled. Bender is one of the greatest characters of all time. Find me one character (Ash excluded) where every single line they uttered was a classic.

Paul Gleason was on a kick ass episode of Dragnet

    by holidill

Last night. He was only in it for a few minutes and he was looking old. Dragnet is a great show, and Sunday's was a creepy one. Especially when we found out who the murderer was. Creepy.

    Memorable Characters

    by jerkwad loser #5

Cash Bailey, there is one other movie character I can think of that only had memorable lines, and that is Westley from The Princess Bride. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    by largojr

Saw the blurb for next weeks season finale. Ok.. first of all.. if he dies, then it would be a "SERIES" Finale, not season..so you know he's going to live. Second, um.. hate to break this to you.. but.. well [psst.. some of us read the book, and/or saw the movie]. Anyways.. lets hope the evil, underaged girl humping politician gets a 30-06 round right up the asshole hmm?

    Suddenly Susan

    by psychonaut

When I was a kid, I really wanted to be as cool as Judd Nelson was in the Breakfast Club. Then I saw him in Suddenly Susan, and in many ways the world suddenly seemed a colder and more depressing place. A similar experience can be acheived through watching any episode of the TV series "Players" starring Ice-T

    DEAD LIKE ME

    by tomvee

You might be interested to know that Lion's Gate, the folks behind THE DEAD ZONE, are working on a new show for the SCI FI CHANNEL. Called THE DIVIDE, it's about a late-night radio psychic working with the ghost of his dead sister and a local female coroner to solve a series of murder mysteries. Talk about an odd threesome. The station also on tap to shortly debut a series dubbed DEAD LAWYERS, from DreamWorks. Sleazy lawyers return from the dead to defend everyone they screwed when they were alive, and it's all pro bono. Now that's what I call justice! I am a newspaper editor and we get these kind of press announcements all the time. At first I thought these were an April Fool's joke. Who knows? Maybe they are. But I am not so sure.

    NOT ENTIRELY GONE

    by tomvee

"don't forget molly ringwald and paul gleason. i wonder what the fuck they're doing as of late."

Gleason popped up in his B.C. character in some recent but entirely forgettable comedy. The kids and I caught it on video. I cannot remember the name. Molly Ringwald turned up in a similar teen comedy about a year ago, but she only had a few minutes on screen.

Also, Paul Gleason was in "Van Wilder" (CRINGE), and the first "Die Hard". Molly Ringwald was recently in the Aussie slasher "Cut", and kids don`t forget Anthony Michael Hall was in "Freddy Got Fingered", playing the timeless character 'Dave Davidson'. ------You`ll have to speak up, I`m on my CELLULAR PHONE!

The preview for the season ender looks like it's picking up the book's ending, but I think this might just be Smith's premonition of his own future.
