FURY ROAD - the Max Max film - Having Troubles' NOT! Postponed Indefinitely' NOPE!

HARRY HERE! Not 20 minutes after I posted the story below, it seems that FURY ROAD is back on track, pushing shooting a bit, from summer to late fall. Whew. WE can all breathe easier now. Whew. Here's the link to the reprieve: Click Here To Read MAD MAX - FURY ROAD - BACK ON TRACK!!!

The following is now dated! The above is the most current information!

Harry here... So I was reading my Namibian newspaper like usual, when I came across an article about FURY ROAD, the 4th Mad Max film, that upset me a bit.

Now, when this whole Iraqi conflict, when it was just affecting our economy, gas prices, the general chaos of the world and what not... I was fairly mute on the subject, but now... Now Saddam and Dubya... Now they're fucking with Max...

Here we finally have George "GOD" Miller after 3 years of crafting a script that I've heard hangs gnards on sticks and beats them upon our foreheads type of cool... He gets Mel to commit, something of a miracle in and of itself. He gets a $100 million dollar plus budget... sets off to shoot in parts unknown to man, so he can do crazy shit that ain't nobody has ever seen... It is all going good and then... BAM, fucking world conspires to fuck it all up.

Admittedly, I'm a huge geek. Elephantine even. And my priorities are often skewed far from the regular real world. I mean, I love movies at a deep down way. And when these conflicts begin affecting my fantasy worlds, I get pissed. FURY ROAD being postponed indefinitely isn't what I want to hear. Reading interviews for years about how George Miller has concieved this film to rip the audiences skull cap off and put a steady drip of endorphines along the lobes for the duration... and now... zilch, nada, argh. Maybe, hopefully, they'll just be changing locations back to Australia or something... For the whole story:
