I don't think this will be as good as the other pixar films.

    by one9deuce

Thats just my opinion though. Something about Albert Brooks and Ellen Degeneres voicing that I don't like. Also, the colors and environment are so similar to The Little Mermaid. Plus, everyone has a slip-up eventually.

John Lassiter is the new Walt Disney

    by timbenzedrine

He and his extremely talented team of artists and writers are the reigning masters of children's entertainment. I love the color, the character design, and all the personality animation. I think it looks great-and funny. If you're not impressed you're obviously not the movie's target audience, kids and their parents (and grandparents) There are plenty of other studios out there that are ready , willing, and able to pander to the lowest common denominator. PIXAR remains a class act.

    Terrible trailer

    by glass

There was an article about Finding Nemo on this site a few months ago which made it sound really funny. This trailer doesn't have a stitch of humor. I didn't even smile once while watching it. As a matter of fact, someone just walked by while I was watching it and actually asked me why I looked so glum. It needs a new trailer NOW.

I don't know- I thought the turtles were pretty funny

    by timbenzedrine

But maybe that's because I once dated a surfer chick (fabulous legs BTW, but I digress) Plus I used to work with 2 guys who talked exactly like that FOR REAL. Maybe I found it amusing becase it takes me back. Anyways, this is only one trailer, I'm sure there will be more before May.

    Pixar is still trustworth

    by johnbigbooty

Though I still don't think they've ever topped the original Toy Story (there was just this sense of not-self-aware magic happening in that one that just can't be duplicated), but I trust that they will turn out yet another highly entertaining film. I don't however think that it will be on par with the rest only because it seems that on this one, they took less time to crank it out so it makes it seem more like a paid-for experiment (ala George Lucas) rather than something they've put their heart and soul into. Don't go to this one expecting another Toy Story or Monster's Inc because you will be disappointed, but you can be sure that it will be very entertaining and a delight to watch.

    Monster's Inc.

    by glass

Sorry, but it did suck. It sucked balls. It rots. Boring, unfunny - I couldn't even watch it while flying, and you know how desperate you get when travelling. Not a fan.

  • ...but Pixar has set the bar so high for themselves with movies like Toy Story and Toy Story 2, there's simply no way they can clear it, especially with such a cheesy, Lifetime channel-style story. The cast isn't so impressive either, and all the jokes in this trailer seem either weak, strained, forced, or cheap. Face it, Pixar has peaked. This is not going to be the typical 5 star movie Pixar used to churn on a regular basis. Hell, Monsters Inc. was at most 4 stars. Dare I even say that this movie might be...bad?

  • We all basically assumed it was Pixar's way of getting stoner humor into a disney flick. Because that's exactly what it loks like..and it was hilarious. "Dude, you were all like, whoa...and i was all like.....whoa."

    MONSTERS BALL

    by tomvee

It is worth reiterating here that MONSTERS INC. was not as good as TOY STORY or SHREK. It wasn't horrible. Just a bit boring and thin on the old plotline. It looked great. But it was boring. It was as good as ICE AGE, but that flick is not the same league with SHREK or TOY STORY.

Looks "meh" but they haven't gone wrong yet

    by mynamedoesn'tfit

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. It might not be Toy Story, but at elast it won't be...oh, I don't know, Treasure Planet.

Okay, the plot looks a little simple, BUT

    by wardog

DIG THAT AWESOME CGI OCEAN! That tells me Pixar has raised the bar another order of magnitude in the quality of their movies. Good going, Pixar! Who the hell needs Disney's crappy animated stories and idiotic live-action comedies when we have Pixar? I mean, REALLY?

Look at it this way you bunch of dipshits...

    by theginger twit

If we were getting the preview to Toystory NOW. If we were getting the preview to Bugs life NOW. Or alternately, there was no other pixar, or CG animated films and this was the FIRST. You guys can really suck arse sometimes.
