HARRY, over at the movie page, printed a rumor last week regarding the possibility
the gang over at "Mystery Science Theater 3000" might be doing a special,
straight-to-video release of the MST3K crew tormenting and lambasting "Batman Forever"
and "Batman And Robin". Noble sentiments, to be sure.

This whole situation was rather funny, actually - as I was unaware Harry had run this
story, had not heard the rumor, hadn’t checked his page, and was flooded with e-mail about
the subject while having had no idea *why*.

To cut to the chase, the "Mystery Science Theater" people have said that - as much as they
would like to - there are currently no plans to do "Batman Forever" or "Batman And Robin" in
any permutation on the show. So there you have it. Did sound like a good idea, though. Of
course, the Sneak Preview I attended of "Batman And Robin" was pretty much a MST3K
experience itself, so I’ve been there already. But it was a fun…
