CLASH OF THE TITANS Update! Mr. Show! Kids In The Hall! Triumph! Janeane! Silent Auction & E-Bay News!!

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.



This coming weekend, I’m going to be covering the Clash Of the Titans, a one-of-a-kind comedy event for charity featuring Mr. Show, Kids In The Hall, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, and Janeane Garafolo. I’m not going to be in the audience, because there’s not one seat available for the press. This is a 100% charity event, with a few seats still available (go to Bob and David’s official website for more information.



Bob wrote me today, though, with information on some other charity events that have come up as part of this, and I thought it was well worth passing along:

Hey. Ready for Sunday night? I'm not...yet. But I think it's going to be fucking great.

Now, one other thing, and maybe Aintitcool can give this some space.

David Himmelfarb, the Kids In The Halls manager, has gone out of his way to put together a silent auction at the venue and even bigger, a very cool ebay auction. All proceeds will go to the two autism charities the show is for.

There will be random Mr. Show, Kids, Garafalo, and Triumph specialty items, signed tour jackets, posters, scripts, even some costumes and props from the shows. And then there are three big items to bid on: SNL walk-on appearance, Conan tickets (and you get to meet the big nerd himself), Letterman backstage tour and tickts, and Rolling Stones NY seats. All with airfare and hotel provided.

I am knocked out by what David has arranged and proud to have it associated with this benefit. And I love the fact that we're doing something national. Info will be up on BobandDavid.com, and there will be an ebay address today.

If you could mention it it would be much appreciated. Oh, and there are still a few tickets left for the show on Sunday, but not many.

    Hey what's that lame slam on the Beatles up there? Lennon and McCartney could mop the floor with Jagger and Richards any day of the week. At least we don't have to watch the Beatles turn into living fossils on stage. LOL Sounds cool all the same. Mick's fallen and he can't get up!

    I've been begging these guys to come to Tempe or Tucson for months, but nothing. No stand up, no Hooray for America, no nothing. It's fucking nice here this time of year, god dammit! Hey, Chastain... I'll be up at ASU for the Beck show next Thursday... hook me up with an e-mail to point me in the direction of some of this cheap ecstacy, por favor. It would be appreciated. I'm only half serious, but it chaps my ass that you guys get much nicer drugs up there. Viva la Mr. Show!

    Tickets?

    Does anybody have any idea as to how to get a ticket? I know there are a few seriously expensive tickets left, but I can't afford them. I am going to be kicking the shit out of myself for a long time for not getting tickets in time for this.
