Hey pervs, Harry here... As always I'm leading the faithful like Moses to their own land aplenty. Heh. Of course I can't work miracles like parting the Red Sea as an instrument of God, but I can tell ya where you can see some damn near close to FINAL FANTASY quality CGI Hentai is... that's hardcore and unlike anything you've ever seen in your life.

A few Hentai companies have me on their DVD review lists, and I always put it in to watch about a minute or so to see if the animation has ever gotten better. I've always just felt that Hentai holds the promise of sheer over the top depravity. I mean seriously... Where else on planet Earth will you ever see thousand tentacled creatures having sex with Japanese heroines in mini-skirts wielding mighty blades? Of course, one often asks themselves why they would ever need to see this stuff, but generally it's to fulfill some weird pent-up sexual fantasy that you developed by watching John Carpenter's THE THING too many times before the age of 10 unsupervised as a double feature with BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR. Not that I knew anyone like that. Oh no. No, not me. Have I mentioned I'm an Eagle Scout and shit honeysuckle flowers that make great tea for Moriarty? It's true!

While I was at Sitges, one of the films in competition was a French film called DEMONLOVER. It's one of those subtle science-fiction films, one that's just slightly in the future. Sort of like... 3 months in the future type of things. Not now, not tomorrow, but not in some unrecognizable flying car future too.

The film is all about the corporate battles over the Internet Hentai Porn industry. The shady types in this world, the film has scenes of graphic sexual conduct, which are absolutely necessary to sell the world these characters are in.

The film is erotic, hot and smart. REAL SMART! The film stars Connie Nielsen, Gina Gershon and Chloe Sevigny. Yes they all get naked. The scene of Chloe naked on her hotel bed playing video games totally nude... well, it rules the world. I mean, who hasn't played video games in the buff in their hotel room with the curtains open for the world to see? Right, of course we do this. Wink wink, and I know you like watching me!

Anyway... at one point in the film when Connie Nielsen is touring a Hentai animation studio (HOW COOL IS THAT???) she is shown "the future of Hentai animation"!!!

Unfuckingbelievable. The FINAL FANTASY-esque Hentai literally caused the audience at Sitges to spontaneously applaud. I freaked. The second this change happens in the industry, is the second HENTAI gets REAL POPULAR. I mean... WOW! Just AMAZING! Watching that tentacled creature with great skin texture... and the hot cg Hentai chick that's kicking ass with her sword, till she loses it and becomes the victim of the tentacled monster... UNREAL!!!!! The second you see this sequence, you wish you had the DVD and could watch it again. It's astonishing. This is real science fiction. It's going to happen, we all know it. This movie paid to envision that future that we all know is out there, and wow.

Now the amazing thing is, as cool as that sequence is, it doesn't over-power the film. These characters are amazing! This could very well be Connie Nielsen's best part to date. She speaks French, Japanese and English. She's the Ice Queen in the story and has more facets than a jewelry shop.

OH... And did I mention the AMAZING score by SONIC YOUTH? Well, it's there. In fact, we the jury of Sitges, awarded it BEST MUSIC of the festival, because... well.... WE RULE and so do they!

The trailer for the film doesn't show hardly anything at all, and certainly doesn't show any of the extreme nudity, violence and sex that takes place. Nor the depths and levels to these characters. This is daring cinema. Seek it out!
