Mr. Zambano Gives ER 9.4 Four Stars!!
|
I am – Hercules!!
ER 9.4 FAQ
Kovac gives it to a MILF in the ER storage closet! Abby returns to the sauce! Weaver makes a potentially life-threatening error on a live TV show!
What’s it called?
"Walk Like A Man."
Who's responsible?
Teleplay is credited to David Zabel (Dark Angel, JAG and Star Trek
Voyager).
What does TV Guide say?
Tensions between meek med student Gallant (Sharif Atkins) and arrogant
intern Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) reach a fever pitch as they battle over two
trobuled patients. The conflict begins after Pratt meddles in Army
recruit
Gallant's treatment of a suicidal soldier. But when Dr. Kayson (Sam
Anderson), the chief cardiologist, refuses to help a known
hypochondriac
(Diane Delano), Gallant finally hits his limit and unloads on Pratt for
having too much to say and too little to offer once the woman's
symptoms
prove to be legitimate. In other storylines, Abby tries to set the
record
straight with Carter about her drinking and Kerry makes a disastrous
television appearance.
what is TV Guide not telling us?
It all starts with Luka and the hot blonde mother of one of his
patients.
The good Dr. Kovac pulls a Malucci in the storage closet. Susan
catches
him, uh, red handed. She tries to convince Abby to talk to him about
it,
but Abby won't have anything to do with it. Uncomfortably, Susan tells
Luka: "What I'm trying to say is that when you're waiting on a
patient's
results, it's not necessary for you to boff the patient's mother in the
storage closest."
What's the deal with Carter and Abby? Is she drinking again?
Yes, but according to her it's under control. The two have their first
lover's spat this week. Carter nearly walks out on her at the El
Station,
but the episode ends with the two reunited at Abby's doorstep.
Wait, Abby's drinking again! How did Carter find out?
He tricks Susan into telling him about their "Girls' Night Out."
Apparently, Susan wasn't aware Abby is a recovering alcoholic.
What's wrong with Weaver? First she breaks down in front of Corday,
now she
"makes a disastrous television appearance?"
She's on TV doing a piece to promote flu vaccines on the local morning
show.
She is giving them each of the newscasters a shot. During the
broadcast she
inaverdently uses the same needle on both of the newscasters. Later
Abby and
Susan see Weaver drop a syringe while in the ladies room stall. An
embarrassed Weaver is speechless.
Is Kerry on drugs or something?
No, but highlight the following if you really want to know:
Abby and Susan speculate that Kerry may be pregnant, to which Abby responds: "Weaver? The straightest gay woman since Janet Reno? I don't think so." A few episodes down the line we'll find out that Weaver is, indeed, pregnant. She's decided to start a family with her "intimate firefighter friend" (Sandy Lopez).
