Final ONE HOUR PHOTO Trailer Now Online!!

Published at:  Jul 23, 2002 12:39:28 AM CDT

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

At this point, I’m positively manic to see this film. It drives me crazy that it’s been screened all over LA, and I have yet to catch wind of one ahead of time.

In the meantime, I will content myself with the new trailer, which has just been added to the Official Website. It’s creepy as shit, and I love it. If the film lives up to that, I’m going to be delighted.

Check it out and let me know what you think...

"Moriarty" out.

    The Harry Animation...

    by blast doh

I just figured it out too...and that's just sick. Like in the real world, violence in entertainment is acceptable, but sex (especially sex like the one in question) is absolutely out of the question.

What is that expandable ball thing the kid is playing with calle

    by bodyslam911

At the begining of the trailer the mother is talking to the son and he is expanding the spiny ball thing,I've been trying to find out what they are called for a long time.

I've already seen this movie twice. It's ok, but

    by madmike

iI found it to be a little anti- climatic. Robin williams is a lonely man who works for an asshole boss of a walmart type of store. he's obsessed with a family and that is pretty creepy, but robin never really go's off. Basically nobody dies. He doesn't kill a single person. He just loses his job and go's over the edge a little. The whole thing basically is a story about envy. I don't know if what i saw was a finished copy or not, but It could end differently. It was still a good film solid film.

    Yo, MADMIKE...

    by clevermoviename

Could you have at LEAST put a spoiler warning on that post?! What's the point of seeing this now? There will be nothing to worry about! No reason to be concerned for the family! I sure hope they change the ending from how you've seen it... GEEZ!

  • Unless they are different trailers. At any rate, it got me seriously pumped. I think this movie is going to be right up my alley...well, I hope so, because there hasn't been a movie like that so far this year.

Didn't they already make this movie?

    by justice41

The premise of this flick sounds awfly similiar to that Michael Douglas flick from a few years back. The one wre he get's fired buck keeps trying to go to work until he cracks and goe's on a rampage. Can't stand that Coke-head, Williams. He's not funny unless you like watching cike heads go of on a coke frenzy. You know, the kind where they just jabber on about nothing for hours. that's Williams to me. The Douglas movie was interesting. It reminded me of that Burt Lancaster flick, were he tried to swim home from one neighbors pool to another. I guess guys having Mid-life crisis are enVogue again.

"In all his goddamn sick twisted fuck character movies? Insomnia

    by dr_zoidberg

Oh, you can only mention two recent films. Too bad. You must be gay. One Hour Photo will ROCK. It will be much better than TPM and AOTC. Those films sucked ASSZ. Remember, my organised boycott made AOTC the FLOP that it is. I don't ever want to see that pile of CRAP.

    I HATE false advertising...

    by pattyogreen

... and that's EXACTLY what they're doing with this movie. Saw it a month or so before the trailers came out, and I really really dug it. A bit of a sad, somewhat twisted character study, well shot, and it kept me involved the whole time. I don't know, some people might have different tastes. However, MARKETING it as a freakin' THRILLER is going to turn so many people off of it. They're just going to be pissed that they didn't get what was promised to them when they plopped down their $8, and therefore, will say fuck all to the rest of the movie, as interesting as it is. I really really god damn hate it when studios pull that shit. Honestly, if you want to see crazy out of control trying to kill people Robin Williams, go see the dollar movie showing of Death To Smoochy. However, if you want creepy, low-key, somewhat disturbing but not at all unrealistic Williams, go see this. It is most defintely my favorite movie of his this year.

    Animation

    by darth_durden

I believe that's an Eyes Wide Shut parody. I also beleive it's one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen.

That's it, I have had it with these sicko animations...

    by cooldan989

First we have to see Harry slitting his eye for days on end, and now, we have to see this disgusting thing! If I see one more disturbing animation on this site, I am leaving it for a long, long time.

that animation must be a joke because there is no way Harry woul

    by weedymcsmokey

Also if the previous TB was correct and the marketing of this film is (once again) "fooling" the public into seeing it then the inmates really do run the asylum. First, lying to the public inspires bad word of mouth from the morons who really want to see a suspense thriller based on Fuji Film and are dissapointed when it turns out to be a charcter sutdy. Second, who the hell would be afraid of Robin Williams anyway? - Well, Patch Adams was fucking scary (saw it on TV - never paid anything, didn't watch whole thing, must defend myself and reputation). Call it a double disservice.

    Hey Twofortyone

    by weedymcsmokey

What the fuck makes you such an authority? That was the single most arrogant, vitrolic talkback I've seen in a long time. Are you so sure you can disect someone completely and correctly from 8 lines of hastily written text? What the fuck are you trying to prove - or potentially compensate for? It all seems so desperate. Oh, and smoke weed - you'll calm down. Perspective is everything. Peace. Your having a bad day - don't spread it around.

The OHP site rocks and the eye thing is from...

    by howardroark

Well, I've seen the movie only once (at Sundance) and this movie is RW's best of the crazyman trilogy this year. His Q&A was probably the best Q&A ever in Utah.

And I'll tell you another thing, that OHP website ROCKS! I'm not a big Flash fan but inally, somebody who knows what they're doing with Flash.

And finally, all you film buffs out there don't recognize that Harry is, IMHO, paying homage to Un Chien Andulou - c'mon people doesn't anybody watch films pre-1980?

    williams is great

    by fraggleroc

this is my 1st post here so bear with me, saw this movie a few months ago, it is a very good movie that could be changed(hopefully) into an awesome film. one thing to say is that robin williams is fantastic in this, you really feel his pain and loneliness, he has had a great year and it really shows here, the other performances aren't really worth writing about but this film really isn't about them, one scene in particular of williams had really scared the shit out of me, it also has a very falling down feel to it- but thats not at all bad, we needed another one like it, so thats okay in my book
