Hey folks, Harry here... A movie where Hopkins plays a rapist and Nicole Kidman plays the victim... I don't know if I can handle watching actors of this quality bringing these things to life. Hopkins could play it a bit too real and Kidman's character could be brutally fragile or strong or both and frankly it is just too disturbing to really think about. This project scares me.

long time reader, second time writer. i wrote you once before when the effects guy from shrek came to my school (RIT) and mentioned shrek 2. anyway, heres the purpose of this email.
the movie THE HUMAN STAIN with anthony hopkins and nicole kidman is being filmed in williamstown mass, which is the neighboring town of my hometown, north adams ma. williams college was the pick for the location of the movie, it won over amherst college. anyway, the only news i've heard is that one scene in the movie involves a character (presumably hopkins from the imdb breakdown) breaking into a post office after hours to have sex with a janitor (presumably kidman). the reason i know this is because it caused quite a problem as the town would not let the movie shoot there. the town said they did not want to promote afterhours sex and b&e in a post office. in response the exterior of the post office was shot, with the sex scene shot in a municipal building.
don't know if you care about this movie at all, and if you do, if you can use this. i wish i was there so i could do some 1st person spying, but i'm still going to school in Rochester. My mom sent me the newpaper clipping about this, her knowing how much i love movies.
