BUBBA HO-TEP World Premiere Info -- Vegas - Bruce - Don - Reggie - Quint & Harry'
Hey folks, Harry here... Too often you hear about cool events in Los Angeles... or more often in Fabulous AUSTIN, TEXAS -center of the cool universe -- BUT this time, in the land of broken dreams and slot machines... In that Oasis of Sin the PALM in the midst of CINEVEGAS there will be premiere that you Geeks WANT TO KNOW ABOUT!!! BUBBA HO-TEP! The film about the ancient Elvis and JFK played by Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis vs an ancient Mummy. This epic battle takes place within the confines of an OLD FOLKS HOME as the Mummy is stealing old folks' souls and it is up to the dreamer of Camelot and the man with dangerous hips to wrap up this Mummy!
Now Bruce Campbell is gonna be there!!! The Fabulous Don Coscarelli is gonna be there!!! The God known as Reggie Bannister is gonna be there!!! For some insane reason even Quint and Auntie Meat are gonna be there!!! And there is a chance that even I will be there, plans are pending. Ya see I'm a juror at the festival and I'll be there for at least part of the fest, though I'm hoping to be there for pretty much the whole thing. We'll see. I'll let you know more the closer it gets.

This is one of those times that I wish I wasn't poor. Wow, I'm not into premiere stuff usually, but this would be pretty cool. I'm more concerned, however, with the notion that this film will actually be released and distributed and shown in theaters and whatnot. Any word on a release schedule. Dare I dream, or is this a straight to video dealie? Forsooth, say that I do not dream in vain.... (You use four at the end of a paragraph...)....

There hasn't been a funny joke involvivng Elvis impersonators since that Nicolas Cage movie with the "Flying Elvises" (UTAH chapter!).

Bruce Campbell does not play an Elvis impersonator in this film. He plays an elderly Elvis in a retirement home. Word.
