XXX Behind The Scenes Pics From Prague!!!
Hey folks, Harry here with the look behind the set of XXX, the Vin Diesel and (pant pant pant) Asia Argento... sigh... I want to hope that XXX will blow me away, but a recent conversation with John Robie has me tethering my excitement due to his dislike of the script. He and I don't always see eye to eye, but sometimes we do.... So till I get my hands on the script, I'll just place my faitih in Vin.. he's a badass, he'll come through. Right?

Here are some photo's of the XXX set in Prague. The set decorators were busy
with the statue at the 11th of february and the actual shooting took place
at Valentine's day.

Looks like Vin's going to be playing the same Dominic Torreto character as he did in TF&F, except as a secret (read super) agent. I hope this movie rocks, and I hope Rob Cohen tries something new with his style in this one. I'm really looking forward to it......these pics don't do anything for me though.

I know I'm WAY out of date here as I only saw Fast and the Furious the other week....it was utter wank. It was "Point Break" but with cars.
The undercover cop infiltrates the gang via the chick who works in a resturant type thing...right down to the shot of the the guy walking away at the end...total rip. point Break was ok but if you're gonna rip at least rip from a top class movie.
Vin was kinda cool in Pitch Black but I dont know how long his lunk-head roles will keep him up. If he stretches a bit then maybe he'll gain some credability but all these walking muscle roles arent doing him any favours. -
Vin Diesel can barely speak fucking english. He's physically imposing but needs an dialect/acting coach.

Naah, actually the subject is Vin Diesel, I was just lying to be different. Gay or not, he's fit as you like, and it makes no difference as none of us are ever likely to meet him anyway. And Fast and the Furious did suck like a vacuum, but in a brainlessly entertaining way, so I have forgiven him for that and am trying to focus on the excellent Pitch Black instead. And these pics really don't give much away, do they? So I shall wait and see how it all turns out. Love or hate the man, he doesn't look to be going away any time soon.

It accomplished what it set out to do:entertain me. It was a fun, mindless summer popcorn movie. A film like Gone in 60 Seconds bored the hell out of me and was stupid. FATF was great fun. Stop taking films so seriously guys!

Having been near the F&F project, let me clear up a couple of things. UCLAfilm, I know your source, she's nice, but she exxagerates. Vin did NOT have guys going in and out of his trailer, that's bull.
But, on the other hand, I heard that crap about Michelle and Vin falling for each other on the set of the F&F. I think it's just a publicity thing for both of them, just like Cruise and Cruz. As far as on set goes, nobody noticed anything that might have suggested they were getting involved with one another. -
Why has no one mentioned the film Boiler Room? Vin was actually pretty good in that. He should stick to roles like that one and skip all this meatheaded, punch-the-bad-guy-in-the-face stuff. Go see Boiler Room, now...

Vin Diesel is an almighty crusader of virtue and integrity. NATO should clone him millions of times, and then no-one would ever try anything against the Western World again, because who'd want to take on an army of Vin? He'd chew up your face, because he is a bad-ass muthatrucker. In other news, The Fast and the Furious is a righteous film. The action scenes are exhilirating and revive even the most tired souls, and the sweet performance of the Almighty Vin Diesel rocks the planet. My personal favourite part is when he picks up Michelle Rodriguez by the ass, showing both superhuman strength and a love for fine women. Plus, he growls, "You EMBARRASS me!" and he rules. Therefore, XXX will most likely rule the planet, and Vin will be the first actor to recieve $500 million per film after that. Rock on.

Just a few notes:
1. Vin diesel is a big enigma. For his first couple starring roles, I couldn't tell if he was black, white, half white and half something, or what!
2. He has a very strange deep voice and usually a guy like him doesn't make a good top dog in a movie. And as for him being gay, if he is, he's wasting his muscles on men.
3. I think XXX is a bad attempt at trying to create a new type of james bond. It will have success, but it won't have the lasting power that Bond has and continues to have. -

he supposedly is dating michelle rodriguez but man is she kinda dykey looking, but who cares maybe it's the rough girls?! Vin deisel's cool i mean a lot of his flicks are well made.. when i saw saving privae ryan i was wondering what the hell his ethnicity was. fast and the furious had me going all the way up to the beautifully executed car race where (i like a little fag) held onto my chair cuz the visuals were awesome, then it just fell apart... it's not like TF&F was terrible it just sucked midways a flick for speedracers just like "groove" was for ravers... **shrug** i liked boiler room even though the ending for that stunk too, pitch black was good and Iron Giant so it's not like deisel's had a row of shitty roles... maybe this'll be tops just hope it won't fuck up like TF&F in the end... and remember to all those people yelling Vin is gay... what the hell is that about? just a bunch of buttocks plunderers you iz... oh and from the famous denzel/john lithgow flick....

Whatever- He did a solid job with Pitch Black and was the only good actor in F&tF.

He can't act, he's an ugly guy, he has no personality, I watched 15 minutes of my friends rented F&F dvd and left, pitch black sucked and if you people with no taste are going to keep fueling his career, then keep him where he belongs.....out of site from the movie going public and behind a microphone grunting like a Sasquatch (with no real lines) for an animated film like he did for Iron Giant. WOW what talent!! That is all my run-on sentence has to say.

Once, trapped behind the Iron Curtain, I was pretending to be a native. Since a lot of them were in line, I joined them. They were all holding these yellow tickets. I didn't have a ticket, so I said to the guy in front of me, "Giddyup nadsec parole naboo," which is Czech for "Step into this alcove so that I may club you over the head." He complied (it's so miserable there that anybody will let you club them over the head if you just ask) and I took his ticket. After six and half hours in line, I got to this little card table, gave the grey skinned fat woman my ticket and received a two litre bottle of urine. Out on the street, I traded it for a case of Skorpion and a position in the Czech parliment.
