    Sigh, yawn

    by silvio dante

I thought major studios were steering away from this kind of material? Yes, but it was already in the can before sept. 11. Well, hope they have some decency and donate some of the dough they're getting from this to the families WTC victims. But judging by this trailer, that money won't get you far. Same bollocks as Eraser and End Of Days.

    I still like Arnie

    by pogo on my own

Sure the guy has made some less than spectacular films, but he does seem to make fun movies. He hasnt really tried to get serious and dramatic. And all you geeks know you will be all over his nuts as soon as he starts filming True Lies 2 or any other film with James Cameron. People always like to tear down their idols once they start showing thier age. Bring it on Arnie I will be there opening weekend damn it.

    Come back, Ah-nuld

    by silvio dante

yeah, it would be great seeing him TL2 now that T3 is obviously out of the question. I'm actually the only person on this earth who liked 6th Day. It was less than perfect but at least it tried to emulate the spirit of those classic Arnie flicks. It was like Total Recall Light.

Wow...that was the best trailer I've seen in months.

    by wergh4ree

Arnold sliding around on the ground, Arnold punching the camera, Arnold totally emphasizing the wrong words in his witty comebacks...and no hottie female lead. Damn great...damn great......DOES IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE? .... I'm not an Arnold fan, I think he's finished, but this place is starting to invite lots of pretentious geeks as if they know how to make a movie trailer.

    CD

    by 260298

I've got a very good impression of it. Arnie looks very well and CD is exactly the type of movie Arnie should be in. I'll be there opening weekend in the Czech republic.

    WTC

    by silvio dante

Point I was trying to make: The studio made the connection, by announcing they were even considering not to release CD. Instead, they just waited for the initial shock to die down. Yours, Sorry Suckhead.

    Schwarzenegger WILL BE BACK

    by abking

Arnold is a larger-than-life movie idol GOD. He "WILL" be back and COLLATERAL DAMAGE "WILL" be a huge hit for the WB. I say bring it on and while Schwarzenegger is at it, make COMMANDO II and go behind enemy lines to kick some bad guy ass like Stallone is doing with John Rambo in RAMBO IV!!! "You know when I promised to kill you last...I LIED". That is true SCHWARZENEGGER talk!!!

    Return to form.

    by eraser

This looks like it could be a return to something like form for Arnold. Although I enjoyed End Of Days, I think the fact that I hadnt seen my favourite Action Hero on screen for two years was a major contributing factor, but, in my opinion it was solid. 6th Day had the problem of a mediocre script, that with the right director with some ideas could have turned it around (i have thought of so many cool ways that film could've rocked), but, no, they hired the most inept director in the world (TM) Roger fuckwit Spottiswoode who churned out an embarrassment. This looks like solid, above average Arnie, hell, I cant believe that you guys dont think the idea of Arnold running through jungle terrain, beating up terrorists isnt cool - IT IS!! Basically, I see this as a more mature Commando, and I think it will perform well, and then its onwards and upwards for the Oak. All those people slating Arnie cos he's getting old - 1. He looks faboulous (6th day was a culmination of terrible wardrobe, makeup, and a director who doesnt know how to shoot Arnold) and 2. I think the idea of an older Arnie is very exciting, different roles, taking a Clint Eastwood career path. I'll be there, I love Arnold movies, and I think this is gonna be a good 'un.

arnold is the fucking action heroes

    by kitfisto

like a lot of you i remember arnie in his good old days the pumping iron time when arnold was younger
and was making the best action flicks along with stalonne .Give the guy a chance he is becoming old , but he can still kick ass
the 6th day was good i think , but the problem is that people seem to want arnold as he was back in the 80 , sorry folk , time change .
anyway we can still watch good arnie flick from the 80 on dvd like the terminator and predator which is two of the best action flicks arnie ever made .

What the hell's going to happen to Arnie in twenty years...

    by zepher

He's quickly approaching his sixties. Don't you find it odd in how old the T-800 is gonna look twenty years later. He's gonna look like Walter Mathau with fewer chins! It may be funny to watch old people fall down, but it's embarrassing to see them whoop ass in the process.

    Age...what age!!!

    by abking

You IDIOTS are always talking about age!!! Do you people really think Schwarzenegger or Stallone look 54 and 55??? They don't look close to that age, hence they don't act it. They act like they are still in their 80's hey days as well they should. That is what the audience use to like from them and that is what makes them BIG! T3, RAMBO IV, KING CONAN, ROCKY VI and TRUE LIES 2 are gonna kick ass!!!

Arnold totally emphasizing the wrong words in his witty comeback

    by street legal

Canary Farmer- You hit the nail on the head! HA! That's Arnie's main appeal these days, in my opinion. I think he had the best lines in Batman... "Kell De Heeeroes!" "B'tmens Beloved Got'em will PAIR-ISH"... OMG, he cracks me up...

"6th Day" and "End Of Days" were both not bad!

    by elgyn6655321

They were both better than some of the stuff Arnie did in the 80`s - I`m not talking about his classics, I`m talking about stuff like "Red Heat" or "Raw Deal" (try watching that one again).
P.S. - This movie will probably clean-up at the box-office, regardless of whether or not it`s good. Right now is the PERFECT time for Arnie fighting terrorists, and people will go.

    by stilt-man

To the person who said making a movie trailer is hard...yup, my brother in law spent a shitload of time putting together a trailer for Minority Report last week, and as he tells it...it was a bitch.
