1) Forget about that Saturday episode zap2it.com said was coming. The “Big Brother” chunk of the cbs.com Website now indicates that the highly-rated reality series will air on only two more nights. Tuesday will bring a two-hour installment that will commense at 8 p.m. The big finale will air on the date long scheduled: Thursday, Sept. 20 -- but it will no longer air opposite the “Friends” season premiere. The NBC sitcom is now slated to return to new episodes a week later, on Sept. 27.

2) An Associated Press story on Friday pointed out that the American “Big Brother” houseguests in Studio City, Calif. actually know a good deal more about the horrifying East Coast terrorist attacks that those sequestered in other “Big Brother” houses around the world. Overseas versions currently running in Belgium, Denmark and South Africa have told their houseguests nothing. For some reason, however, the 18 (!) houseguests in the Dutch “Big Brother” house have -- like Americans Will Kirby, Monica Bailey and Nicole Wilson -- also received word of the attacks.

    What a bunch of scumbags.

To not inform these people, who could very well have friends or family that died, just to keep a lame ass tv show going is reprehensible. Anyway, did anyone even watch the first American one?

    Free the Big Brother 3?

To tell you the truth, if they were to offer them to leave and split the money, they would probably refuse. Even if they were shown footage of what happened, I'm sure Will and Nichole would still want to stay. Monica knows all but one of her relatives are not accountable, and by the sound of it, she also knows she's next to be kicked off, seeing as how she already lost the second part of the HOH challenge and is out of it. Yet knowing she will probably get no money and one of her family members might be gone, she still stays. Voluntarily. This is the only way I can understand why they are still there. To us watching, it's been a silly little lab rat show wev'e been (or maybe not been) watching for the last three months. To them, they have been living it and have formed bonds. Our entertainment, their lives. Personally, I think it would be better for them, especially Monica, to be with their families right now. But it's their choice. They know what happened. They also knew as of two days ago they wouldnt be able to, at the time, fly home or fly their families in. So I don't blame CBS for keeping it going. The houseguests sound like they want to keep it going. They are adults. They made their decision. They have to live with it. What I do think is wrong, though, is the other countries not telling the houseguests. Not letting them know anything from the outside world is one thing, but something of this magnitude....

    This is just sick...

NFL, MLB, the stock exchange, every fucking airline in the country are shut down, but GOD FUCKING FORBID we miss a minute of that wonderful steaming pile of crap called "reality television". Those producers are whores and as stupid as the contestants are to participate in that show in the first place, NO ONE deserves to be sequestered like that during a national emergency. CBS is FILTH!
