UPN’s programming and scheduling department sent out a memo Wednesday indicating that both “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Roswell” will return a week earlier than previously announced.
”Buffy’s” 2-hour premiere will now arrive Oct. 2.
“Roswell’s” opener will launch 9 p.m. Oct. 9.
According to the memo, the moves are being made to get the jump on the copious competition and to build on the momentum of the prior week’s “Enterprise” premiere, which is expected to capture a huge audience.
