Will MGM Produce A Sequel To KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE'

Hey folks, Harry here... When I co-hosted a special episode of Roger Ebert's Television show dedicated to Cult Cinema, the film that I was most excited to pour into people's heads was a film that was out of print on video, not considered as anything special by too many people... But out there in the world was a strong underground cult fanbase for a great CULT film waiting for its day in front of a national audience. KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE!

And I have to say, of all the titles I brought to that show, the one that the most people wrote me to say, "DAMN STRAIGHT BRUTHA," was KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE. It is the ultimate Tim Burton film that he had no part of. The film is a giddy maniacally joyful evilly delicious funhouse. Ahhhh Shadowpuppets... sigh... I can't wait for the new DVD super set that MGM is putting out...

Well our buddies over at DvdSewer.Com recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with the Chiodo Brothers (aka some of the last champions of the stop-motion field) about their work on KILLER KLOWNS, the dvd... AND THE POSSIBILITY OF SEQUELS!!!!!!!

MGM!!!! RUN, don't walk, to Tim Burton and give him an advance copy of this dvd and make a Tim Burton directed sequel/re-invention. Please, this would rule beyond words. Tim would keep Stop Motion in place. Tim would spring to life like we haven't seen since MARS ATTACKS! It would be a complete JOY... Well, I suppose the fate of a KILLER KLOWNS relaunch would have to come with the success of the DVD... So folks, if you do not know this film... BUY THE DVD!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!
