Hey folks, Harry here... Here comes the news on Herschell Gordon Lewis' shocking return to the silver screen... BLOOD FEAST 2: BUFFET OF BLOOD!!!! Not since seventies filmmaker Terrence Malick returned to the screen have I been this excited. That's right folks, BLOOD will be back on the screen in all of its bloody glory!

I have been a long time reader on your site. I think that your site sets the standard of movie info, rumors, and various other nuggets of goodness. With all of that said, I hope that you will be interested in the good knowledge that I have. On 7/27/01, Blood Feast 2: Buffet of Blood will begin rolling cameras in Mandeville, LA. In fact, the "Godfathers of Gore" are arriving in town today.

Herschell Gordon Lewis flew into New Orleans International Airport this morning at 8:30 AM. David F. Freidman is arriving this evening by train around 6:30 PM. The crew is all assembled and we are all excited at the opportunity to work with Herschell and David. We really feel that this is something special. We confirmed last night that John Waters will be doing a cameo as a preacher. There will be more cameos as well. Phil Anselmo, lead singer of Pantera, will appear as well as Rob Zombie. Jacky is trying to get everything worked out with Rob right know. Most of the crew that will be working on this has been assembled for more than a year now.

Everyone got together last August on the set of "Bully". Jacky served as the line producer on that film. After "Bully", Jacky and crew went on to do "American Leather" and "Love, Liza" with Kathy Bates and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Boyd Ford has written the screenplay. I think the script really does the job at staying loyal to the original Blood Feast, while raising the bar in the gore and sex factor. We are scheduled for a 15 to 18 day shoot. Harry, I really think that we got something going here. Let me know what you think.
