USA Today came out Monday with reporter Gary Levin’s always-painful-to-behold list of series he believes doomed or under consideration for doom.
THE BAD NEWS. The good shows Levin considers “canceled (or nearly dead)” include ABC’s “Gideon’s Crossing,” CBS’s “Big Apple,” and UPN’s “Gary and Mike.” The horrible shows Levin considers “renewed (or almost)” include CBS’ “Yes, Dear,” “Becker,” “JAG,” “Judging Amy” and “Touched by an Angel,” NBC’s “Providence,” Fox’s “Titus,” and the WB’s “Dawson’s Creek” and “Sabrina.”
THE GOOD NEWS. The good shows Levin considers “renewed (or almost)” include ABC’s “Once and Again,” CBS’s “CSI,” NBC’s “Ed,” Fox’s “Boston Public,” and the WB’s “Gilmore Girls,” “Angel,” “Baby Blues” and “Felicity.” The horrible shows Levin considers “canceled (or nearly dead)” include CBS’s “The Fugitive,” “Some of My Best Friends” and “Walker: Texas Ranger,” NBC’s “First Years,” and Fox’s “Freakylinks.”
THE SCARY NEWS. The good shows Levin considers “on the bubble” (neither certain to renewed nor canceled) include the WB’s much-admired “Roswell” as well as ABC’s “Norm” and “The Job.”
