Hey folks, Harry here in Austin about 3 hours away from my flight up to New York where I'll be hosting a screening tomorrow (Friday, February 9th) at the Broadway and 62nd Street Clearview Cinema at 8pm (eastern time) where I will be introducing what I'm told is to be a gorgeous uncut mint as the day they were printed print of Peter Jackson's BRAINDEAD, which is known in the United States as DEAD ALIVE.

I will be introducing the film... telling a couple of stories from my New Zealand journey as well as one truly great behind the scenes story on BRAINDEAD that I have never seen published and that Peter told me on my last day in New Zealand.

This is all part of the 2001: A NEW ZEALAND FILM ODYSSEY which is showcasing New Zealand films from now till the 13th of February.... all day long. Tickets are available via MoviePhone and are available at the Box Office.

If you have never seen this movie, then by all means go... I promise you will see a movie utterly unlike anything you have seen before. To date this is my favortie Peter Jackson movie... though I adore his other films, BRAINDEAD is... well it is what it is and God bless every last second of it. I will be in New York all the way from now till Sunday so feel free to drop me an email with suggestions about what I should do while in the city that never sleeps. Remember New Yorkers... that grotesque fat homeless fellow on the corner with the squigee stick... beginning today... that could be me! So spare some change.... hehehe...
