Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
You guys remember Glen, right? The guy who used to run AICN Coax? Good egg. Met him a few times. Like him a lot. Haven't seen him here at AICN in a while. Well, that's because he's been busy at FilmForce.IGN, where he managed to grab a pretty cool shot of what Robert Wise is up to with the restored version of a film I absolutely detest, STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE.
Wait, wait, wait, you're saying. You said they were sweet images, a cool photo. But you hate the film. Whazzup with that? I can appreciate that if I were really into ST:TMP, I might be excited to see what work is being done on the film. I can't believe anyone in their right mind is actually still spending money to spruce this turd up, but that's their right, I suppose, and I certainly think that Foundation Imaging is doing some great work on bringing a new energy to a film that I find to be a more potent sleep aid than Nyquil.
