Hey folks, Harry here... Seems that our man Theefer in France has been keeping his eyes peeled on Luc Besson's producing project... KISS OF THE DRAGON which he wrote for Jet Li to star in. Right now it seems shooting is going on in this classic 163 year old hotel in Switzerland (see photos) and this hotel seems to be one of the lushest most posh places you could shoot a sequence of a film in. And I hadn't heard about Tcheky Karyo being in this film yet... but damn, he's one helluva cool actor... Here ya go....

Here is some news about Kiss Of The Dragon, coproduced & cowrited by Luc Besson!
So, the shooting began on september the 25 and will finish on january the 12. The movie should be released on 7'6'2001. It has a 40 Million Swiss Francs (60 mio $) budget. The movie is directed by the young Christophe Nahon.
But now, let's talk about the shooting itself!
So at the moment, the french team is shooting some scenes (including action
scenes) in Montreux (Switzerland), in the Palace Hotel. They locked an
entire floor for it. Unfortunately, the production is very carefull and the
set well guarded, so I won't be able to get any pics :-(
Anyway, you might be interested to know that Jet Li, Tcheky Karyo and
Bridget Fonda are part of the cast!

Firstly, hum Harry, I'm Swiss, not french. :) Anyway, here are some additionnal infos I didn't mention in my previous mail, thinking it would not be interesting. But as long as so many people seem to be interested in this movie, I'll post them: - Some action scenes will take part in the kitchen of the Hotel, and there won't be any external scene. (Lady L. (1965) & La Montagne Magique (1982) have been shot there too). - The Jet Li character will be a Chinese cop, coming in Europe to help the French policemen and trying to catch a dealer. - The Fox is producing the movie.
